I must say,it's been so long since I haven't been that excited for a show... ;D

I usually don't care about meeting the band or else but I would say that meeting Mr Lanegan would make me quite happy (not to mention my girlfriend who got fond of his voice ever since I introduced her to his music, which is quite a long time ago now)

yep yep yep
I haven't seen any review with the European lineup. Did they play any headline yet or just Depeche Mode support? (wondering in terms of how long they'll play)

I went to the show in Ghent (w/o Depeche Mode). The setlist was about the same as other shows (e.g. Boston on September 23rd). I sent in a review for the website but since my e-mails are on a different computer I can't copy-paste the review here now but the bottom line is: excellent show.
Oh, and they were still selling those live CDs (at 10 euros a piece). Unfortunately, I didn't read on the forum until today that some people here would like one so I only bought one. Sorry about that.

it was so intimist, not many people... Yeah they re-opened for this date, c00kie told me "it smells fresh paint" ;D where to begin ?
Mark was really happy to be there, and he wore a... real suit jacket !!! wooohoooo.
I didnt have my cam, only my iPhone, then my photos are wrong, but i saw many people there with cam.... ;)
Twas simply fantastic, but soooooooo short !!!
I tried to get the set list, but the roadies didnt want, i should bargain for rich guitar instead ;D
I met c00kie, nice lady who asked me as soon i passed the door :D if i was "the girl" from OW, i couldnt find my words as i was so surprised... twas funny ;D

I cant say more, only it was a very very sweet moment for me... my friend laughed at me by seeing me melt like this.

Wait for a review from some one speaking english better than myself (nobody cant be worse!!)... otherwise... you're warned ;D

I forgot to write it down as I believed I could get one in the end(I was just in front of Mark with a black hoodie)...which was not possible due to the band reusing them

the guy next to me took picture of the setlist, let's hope he posts them somewhere

you were with a blonde in front of mark ? i came in the middle of the show for a photo and a vid .... and at the end too,... i came close to you when the roadie was about to stick the set lists , then i bargained too ;)
i claimed it was for onewhiskey, but ... no way :( as i said, i should say "can i have rich guitar instead ?"

yeah exactly that's me, I was with my girlfriend, I see who you are then
;D for the guitar joke, I think the roadie would have stared in total disbelief

thez more I think about this show the more I think I'd like to see them again, and I'm afraid thy won't be touring any more in 2010, so sad

I'm so glad you lot had a good time :) Maidli i would love to see you write a review, perhaps you and cookie could do it together? :P

To think set lists are being re-used; you'd think these lazy bastards could print some out every now and again eh? ::)

Seriously it is good to hear you had a fab night out. Nice one, Soulsavers [image]

The reviewer says it wasnt a good show because she wrote that he (Mark)were in a hurry between 2 songs in order to finish quickly, and people had bad mood there cause of the fresh paint smells ambiance of the place, and negative points like this ...
IT is not my feeling at all !!
It's the opposite !!! Mark was happy to be there, he talked in the middle, and at the encores too, waving good bye and a smile on his face. I think HE was in a great day, as he wore a jacket - oh it seems stupid, but i take this as a good vibe - and showed us signs he was good.
Rich was really great, he is a very great player. I had the feeling all musicians were in a great day, AND they all had fun.

And notice they played "unbalanced pieces" , and it's not on the set-list (copy-paste hereunder)

Ask the Dust
Ghosts Of You & Me
Some Misundersanding
Jesus of Nothing
Death Bells
You Will Miss Me
All The Way Down
Paper Money
Kingdoms Of Rain
Spiritual
Hit The City
Rolling Sky
Jesus Just Left Chicago
Feels So Good

Through My Sails
Revival

Thanks for putting that straight!
Maidli, would you be able to translate the french review? You can send it to me if you would like help with putting it in the right english words. Then it could go up translated on the main site, with credits to the magazine and to you for the translation :)

dang - they all look great!
not that I don't appreciate any of the normal stage attire I've seen, but dressing up is nice once in a while.

Anyone who wants to send a review is welcome - your english doesn't have to be perfect for your enthusiasm to make sense to people who read it! And anyone who even attempts to speak more than one language is okay in my book!
