Kind of disappointed in no reports (yet to come I hope). Was it that awkward or is the hangover that much of a bitch?

Hey we were all very well behaved there was much tea drinking and playing in rock pools! Well that was all rather lovely, It feels odd to post cause the other guys aren't home yet but it was really cool. We were all trying to respond to this thread.....some reception issues resulted in our mobile phones allowing us to log in but not post ;D it took an hour to get the toast comment on here so we were very proud of ourselves. The gig was fun (support band were great), the beach was awesome and the old people were a riot. Oh and we saw some famous bloke off the telly but none of us know his name so you'll have to take my word for it Bet Foz and Thalia have more articulate ramblings than I and maybe some photos too......... I could grumble about the sound and not being able to hear Isobel but i've had such a lovely time I'm not going to. Lots of smiling and giggling all around, great stuff. You lot have all gotta bloody well come next time

Bloody phone. It said I was logged in, but wouldn't let me do anything. And I tried lots of times.
Yes. I had a great time - the apartment was fantastic (once we worked out where the timer for the heating was), company was brilliant, weather and sea was ace and the gig was fantastic. There's some things I don't normally expect to see at a show where Mark Lanegan performs, and that's him having to dab his eyes with a towel after a fit of the giggles. And ex-Eastenders. I'll fire off a proper review to Raeni later on as soon as I decipher my notes. Next Week's Washing will have to remain an enigma though.

It was a lovely tea party. What to say about the gig? Hmmm, foz will no doubt write a fab review so I will add...nice venue. There weren't many people there, but the crowd seemed into it (except that stupid woman yakking towards the end - you couldn't hear the music over her). Oh, and Mark laughed - hard. I know breakerfall's said it already but the support band were GREAT! Anyway, to the more important stuff - and that is the lovely tea house we found in Battle. We got to sit in front of an open fire and drink tea and eat Welsh rarebit and chocolate scones.....bliss. ;D

Support act here (minus violin player. Not sure where he went. Or the drummer, for that matter): It's a song about a monkey followed by a song called Pisshead. I feel like I've been (very acely) musically stalked. And they're that brilliant, I've just bought their CD

Eastenders blokey at the gig's real name: Francis Magee. So there you have it.

Were you leaning on the lid of that box or did you write on it? They must be somewhere because we didn't leave anything in the apartment.

I'll see what I can tap out from memory (although memory is mostly of the Next Week's Washing and Gobby Woman variety)...
