I was at that show, it was great, and 100 Days was definitely the best! (And I'd forgotten that I commented on that video)

Even though they're instrumentals, it still just seems so wrong that little Timmy's favorite song in the cradle might be GnR's Mr. Brownstone.

technically this isn't a lanegan song i guess, but there was a version of "Where did you sleep last night" on the season finale of True Blood (season 4 episode 12). i'm not sure who it was, but instead of singing "my girl, my girl, don't lie to me..." he sang "little girl, little girl, don't lie to me."

These are awesome covers. Women covering Lanegan songs, it's always interesting 'cause obviously they can't hit those low notes. I've covered a couple songs, it's difficult ! haha

might this count, as a 'reverse cover'? www.youtube.com/watch?v=BDC6-6tZzkAhave you ever seen mark's introduction to the live version of don't forget me in tel aviv? and at the 1:48 mark of the video the crowd takes over with the "ohhhhh, ohhhhhh, ohhhhh" part from the original.

goosebumps, you got that right...i can't remember when i first heard the rumors about the israeli song that sounded like don't forget me, but once i heard the original (maybe not original, but one similar to the video you posted), and then someone posted the tel aviv video here, it made it a whole other song. it just took an "okay" song from what i consider my favorite lanegan album, and turnedit into this mysterious goosebumpgivingly brilliant hidding mean song that i will never fully understand. one must wonder how many of mark's songs pay tribute to other songs that never gets picked up on. I didn't pick up on "we got buried in a fever" from wedding dress for a long time... maybe this topic deserves its own thread

Realize that it's not Mark's song, but I'll take Care of You appears to be a new single by Drake featuring Rihanna. Afraid I have never heard of Drake.

I've heard it several times now and just couldn't quite place the familiar lyrics....wasn't able to fully concentrate due to I can't stand Rihanna. I think there version is simply titled "Take Care." www.youtube.com/watch?v=7SvIlT5Rnk4
