I hope its a lot more downbeat and depressing than bubblegum as well. I like my Mark dark!!! 12 Lexington slowdown's type songs would do nicely . My thoughts exactly!!

I'll take it any way it comes. In a pink box with a bow. I don't care. Blues Funeral does not sound totally upbeat. Not sure how much more down it can sound on the outside. I am sure you have nothing to worry about.

Those titles sound like the perfect soundtrack to my current life. Nice one, Mr. Lanegan ;D
(still not sure if i'm going to one of the gigs, 1 day left to make up my mind)

If it's too hard when the day arrives, then don't go. Give the ticket to someone else. I hope I am not too presumptuous with this, but, the chance to enjoy the music that both you and your husband loved, to celebrate both that shared love and the love you shared with one another, and maybe even to make of the night a memorial and tribute to Rob, I think is one that you should not let pass by.

I'm completely on the same page. I've been telling anyone who'll listen how excited I am for this record. Those song titles literally made me swoon!

Never heard of this song and can't check it from work (YouTube is banned), but I somehow doubt Mark will be covering a Dave Matthews song...

Well THAT one's bound to be heart-crushingly autobiographical.

Does anyone know who is the live booking agency for Mark? I know a concert promoter who wants to try and book a show in Paris EDIT : www.xraytouring.com/ but isn't there an other way to contact his management? (via PM if you prefer)
