12" vinyl (& presumably DL) only for now.
EDIT: Also seeing that Rough Trade are taking CD pre-orders on Whiskey For The Holy Ghost & ITCOY, but with no (re-)release date

Is it available for pre-order now? I can't seem to find it.
edit - Ok, I found it on some UK web sites, but not on Amazon or any US sites yet. Maybe it will pop up in the next few days...

Not US-based, but the price isn't too bad, even after factoring shipping in. Thanks!

Yes! Finally some news, thanks for posting! Wonder when we'll get word on a single? Pretty cool to see an EP released followed by (hopefully) an LP in the fall a la Here Comes that Weird Chill and Bubblegum...even though I believe there was a longer time span between those two releases.

I kind of like that if I had just seen the ep title with artist I would assume it could be lanegan.

Good news! Can't wait! And yeah the title must be a reference to the Rachel Roberts book?

The LP is slated for an October release, so a very good year for Lanegan fans.

The emphasis on my post should probably be on the "for now" as far as that's concerned As for the book that shares the title, it's very heavy going as any diary that ends the day before the author's suicide would be - the whole package could only be bleaker if the album was called Acid Drops

As it's a vinyl release, labels don't like to announce dates at the moment unless they can 100% deliver. With April's Record Store Day continuing to make a mess of pressing/sleeve cutting & printing schedules (it's quite mad just how few places remain that still do this, hardly anyone does the full package in one place and to get everything co-ordinated is a nightmare), vinyl schedules are running 5-15 weeks late thanks to a spike in popularity - mostly popularity in re-released tat that goes straight to ebay - and the same amount of 1980s machines available to press anything. And don't always take Amazon's word for anything - otherwise we would have had this last September

...or it could just be that someone somewhere has first dibs on an announcement after last week's raft of interviews and got a bit grumpy that their exclusive got leaked.
