Looks like Mark is participating in Record Store Day with 1000 copies of a new song pressed on 7" called Stitch It Up. Not sure if this is US or UK...either way, me wants!

From what I've been told, this single will be available on Record Store Day in the US only, but will be available in digital format worldwide.

Anybody else kinda psyched that in 24 or so hours we'll be listening to new MLB tracks?

From Beggar's site:
This exclusive 7'' features two brand new never-before-relesased songs. A follow up to his critically-acclaimed Gargoyle, Mark Lanegan worked on the tracks with violinist Sietse van Gorkom and producer Alain Johannes (Queens Of The Stone Age, PJ Harvey)
Now we know the Sietse project!

For anyone who was able to score the single, does it come with a download code digital versions of both songs?

No digital code. Not digging these songs. More of the same from the last few records. I can’t listen to these recycled lyrics any more.
I wish he would do some more full on collaborations again like the years he did with isobel, dulli, soulsavers and first record with garwood. All those projects felt fresh and exciting. These songs just blend in with the last 20+ solo songs he released.

I did a vinyl rip. Is there an ethical/non-rule breaking way to share it here? Until the single is released, this 7” is the only way to hear the songs AFAIK.
I think the tracks are good but I don’t like the mastering.
Remember, this is Mark Lanegan Band not Mark Lanegan; a distinction of increasing significance IMO.

Love Gargoyle so I'm looking forward to it. Since it is not available in EU I do not care for ethical rules. It's their problem they don't want my money I think both songs should be out tomorrow digitally but if you do upload it somehwere, please send me a PM

Stich It Up is a typical Lanegan single I think. There is always a song like that (Beehive, Harvest Home..).
Really like Song To Manset. It has a nice post-punk feel.

I was under the impression that "Stitch it Up" would be released as a 1-track digital promo single via standard streaming services sometime in May but "Song to Manset" would be exclusive to the RSD vinyl. That said, I've scoured so many places that I can't remember what I've read and where.
Is there a link that clearly notes when the digital single will drop and whether "Song to Manset" will be available anywhere else?

Well, at least Stich It Up should be out tomorrow. Travis Keller who shot the music video said so on his instagram account. Not sure about Song To Manset but I think it will be available sooner or later.

If anyone could please pass along the song to manset mp3 it would be much appreciated. I don’t think any of those singles made their way down to Australia. I don’t think I can justify paying $30+ incl postage for just one song from US or the UK with our exchange rate.
