Ok, maybe I'm the only dweeb who cares, but I was watching "The OC" with my mom tonight and toward the end of the show "Strange Religion" was played! ;D That was my first time ever hearing one of Mark's tunes used in a show and I was so shocked and overwhelmed, I screamed and shed a tear of joy *emo* Anyone else catch it?
A couple weeks ago on the show Modest Mouse performed and they played "Twilight" by Elliott Smith, beautiful.

I remember you suggesting that movie to me cheeky! It was pretty good. You know that girl was also in the movie Sixth Sense. She was the one poisoned by her mom.
Back to Mark on the OC. WTF? Lanegan on some show about 20 year olds? Something seems a bit *off* there. Maybe I'm not thinking about the right show??

Well, it is popular amongst the younger generation, but that's what's so awesome about them playing Lanegan, Elliott Smith, etc. They're bringin' the goods to the youngins'...not a bad thing in my eyes.

Anyone seen Garden State? any good? Garden State... don't think so. Sixth Sense is the movie you're talking about. It is very, very good but kind of creepy. Mischa Barton was a good kid actor. She was amazing in that movie.

It's on a regular channel, Fox 2. It's basically a drama/comedy about rich, beautiful people who live in Orange County...mainly focused around the Cohen family. It's fun to watch. You can probably get more info from this site if you'd like. www.fox.com/oc

But if you watch long enough, every now and then you're rewarded with a two second shot of fleshy goodness.
