I've got synesthesia too, but just the not so special one: Spatial Sequence Synesthesia. Dunno about not so special, that sounds fascinating! Hope it's more of a help than a hinderance for you, it certainly sounds like something that would help put the world in some sort of order for you (and how the rest of us would love to be able to do that!)

Hm maybe it stretches to more places than I first thought. I thought the SSS was in my case only limited to months of the year and days of the week. In that case it definitely is a source for my creativity, and it certainly helps with memory. It's interesting, cool you let me see it in a different light.

I don't care how old this is, I always leave it in a better mood than when I start it.

Oh and I have to wear heels. I usually wear Vans or flipflops Post-Oh, what also makes me happy is falling in love! Just as I was about to semi my resumé to Westvleteren or Affligem so I could join their convent and make beer all day. Love is weird.

Yay for you, Shoesh!! On everything!! New job is proving itself to be quite challenging - in a good way! So many different things to do, cookijg, cleaning, supervising, fundraising, planning etc. And everyone is just absolutely lovely - now I need to learn me some German! Oh, and slight crush on significantly younger boy (legal, though). Life truly is a weird and funny thing

And everyone is just absolutely lovely - now I need to learn me some German! Yeah you should... I've been invited by a german couple at restaurant this year because i used to paint something for them the year before, and we became friends...and i'm invited in Köln , but i promised them to update my poor german before... No emergency for me whatever

Had a nice chat with Mark last night, and the memory of Romina's absolute joy during the show and the meet up with Mark after. Plus a great treat to meet Raeni, Carlito, and others. Cheers to a great night -Eburg

Well, bitter-sweet. Seamus Heaney's last poem from a memorial anthology marking the outbreak of the first world war. His poems are so incredibly earthy. He managed to bring the past to the surface, almost visibly breaking through the earth's surface when he wrote. He wrote in such a simplistic manner, that still rings with all the untold, with all that is only felt. www.theguardian.com/books/2013/oct/25/seamus-heaney-last-poem-published

Slowly getting back on my feet from Thursday. The thing about not really understanding or knowing everything that goes into getting a fairly big music event to happen is that it's going to take a few days until it sinks in. Everything worked out. Everything went great. I am going to do this again someday.

Last nights AFP concert. Firstly, because I was lucky enough to get a ticket (thank you kind woman on facebook!), and then.... Fucking hell, it was the most Rock 'n Roll I've ever seen. And Jherek Bischoff. That cover (Congotronics, I think) is probably one of the most equally primal and sophisticated things I've ever heard. Wow!
