philcollinsrequirements.comAllow Phil Collins to not only let you know what the weather is like where you are, but also advise outer clothing requirements.

Not a website again as such, but Youtube now has a "snow" button which isn't as much fun as the buffering snake game it has that nobody told me about until last month

That's awesome! Wow. Goes to show how much music means to people, when they'll go to such lengths to keep it. <3

There was a great BBC4 doc a couple of years ago (revolving around the Beatles) about how stuff like this created an underground counterculture that paved the way for the whole Cultural Revolution. If you have a spare hour and a half, it's genuinely interesting stuff.
1st part here:

If you have a spare hour and a half, it's genuinely interesting stuff. 1st part here: Thanks silence, that's a pretty cool doc . I don't really like to resort to stereotypes, but those Russians fascinate me to no end. It is as if there is a tendency to go above and beyond what you'd expect - whether it's literature, art etc (especially if you dive into the isms of the Silver Age). Or maybe it's just because I'm from Denmark, and 'middle-of-the-road' as favoured quite strongly here (it does have its merits, though, but sometimes it's just fucking boring...). And I'm glad you people found it interesting

I meant both of you! The weird thing is, an old friend just sent me that email from the 70s... here are my favorites:
"All skaters, change directions" means something to you. You've recently horrified yourself by using any one of the following phrases: "You know, back when...," "When I was your age...," or "When I was younger..." You remember that music that was labeled "alternative" really was. You still wonder if Mikey died from a lethal cocktail of Pop Rocks and Coca Cola. You remember "Friday Night Videos" before the days of MTV. You learned to swim at about the same time "Jaws" came out... You remember having to get off the couch to change the TV channel. If You ever asked to be gagged with a spoon. You actually believed that Mikey, famed kid on the Life cereal commercials, died after eating Pop Rocks and drinking a Coke. Your parents paid $2,000 for a top-loading VCR that was almost the size of a coffee table. You can recite the Preamble to the Constitution, but only to the tune of Schoolhouse Rock. You ever wanted to learn to play "Stairway to Heaven" on the guitar If female: you thought that Shawn Cassidy was "dreamy", lusted after "Ted, your ship's photographer" on the Love Boat or Chachi. Most of the fillings in your mouth are directly related to Bazooka or Bubble Yum.
