Renowned for his insane work ethic, Patton has several projects on the go at the moment, including the long-awaited, 4-years-in-the-making Peeping Tom album. Due May 30, the so called “pop” release (although you know with Patton nothing is ever going to pop as such) features a host of special guests including the typically demure Norah Jones. “I had something real specific in mind for her,” Patton told MTV. “I wanted to take her out of her element and put her in a new environment and make it exciting, and she loved it. She did great. But yeah, you won't recognize Norah. She's cussing her ass off. It's insane. She's like a cruel vamp, and it's super sexy, hot and, yeah, cruel.” Other names to appear on the 11-track LP include Kid Koala, Odd Nosdam, Doseone and Jel of the Bay Area hip-hop collective Anticon, Dale Crover of the Melvins, Massive Attack, Dan "The Automator" Nakamura, Rahzel, Cypress Hill's DJ Muggs, Amon Tobin, Bebel Gilberto; Brooklyn's Dub Trio, DJ Disk of the Invisibl Skratch Piklz and Kool Keith.
As well as Peeping Tom finally seeing the light of day several of Patton’s other projects are coming together, including a stint on Massive Attack’s upcoming album “Weather Underground”, a couple of film soundtracks, a part in Playstation 3 game “The Darkness”, a new Lovage album to follow up 2001’s “Music To Make Love To The Old Lady By” and even the next Tomahawk album.

The last gig at The Corner Hotel is a last minute add-on. I cant think of anyone else with the name peeping tom and with Clutch releasing Pitchfork & Lost Needles on Ipecac a couple of years back, I can only assume it's Patton, Dan the Automnator and Co.. Doesn't suprise me that its on the down low.

He's over that already. I think he's got a 'Ceril Side-Part' Do on the cards. I'm not sure how he's gonna pull it off with the leather vest tho.

gumby has always been a trend setter !
in other news...... Greg Prato of Billboard.com is reporting that former FAITH NO MORE/current FANTOMAS frontman Mike Patton recently collaborated with ROIR recording artists DUB TRIO on a song called "Not Alone" from their latest CD, "New Heavy", due on May 9. "We played with Patton and performed 'Not Alone' in Brooklyn [on Dec. 28]," drummer Joe Tomino tells Billboard.com. "Met him, rehearsed it, performed it — it was magic."
Ideally, DUB TRIO would corral Patton for more than just one song. "The only person we have in mind [to collaborate with] is Patton — the goal is to definitely do a whole album with Patton," bassist Stu Brooks says.

they were pioneers man...you know that & no one has filled and/or improved on their sound, so I guess its only natural to make reference. I listen to them and still hear intricate things that flood me with memories He hates that tho doesn't he?! "I dont give a fuck what FNM fans want"!!
