... I don't care about that stuff, it's just that the game was over and everyone got up and left, but the guy was still there...it's like, well he was supposed to die, but never did and now everything's blown to shit but he's still there aaannnnddd?? <FINIS>....damn
I totally agree plus i thought the title Saw was pretty obviously not just "saw" as in "saw things in two", but also "saw" as in the voyeur kinda way. I did not guess the guy on the floor, but wasn't impressed when it turned out it was him (or is it *yawn* ).
I think I was mostly distracted by all sorts of tiny little details that were not dealt with well. Little mistakes. First they've been in the dark for ages but when they turn on the light, they can just look straight into it. But then later on, they had the lights on for hours and decide to turn it off for a few seconds so they can see the glow in the dark-writing... and then after 30 seconds they turn the light on again and OH THEY'RE BLINDED BY THE LIGHT!!! That is just stupid writing, I'm sorry.
It was one of those movies that, afterwards I thought was great!!! and then about 10 mins after it quickly lost all intensity as I realized I was taken by the whole hype thing rather than the actual movie itself.
No offence, if you like the movie that's cool and stuff, but it was so not for me
The real art of conversation is not only to say the right thing in the right place, but also to leave unsaid the wrong thing at the tempting moment.
I also think it relied to heavily on just trying to gross out...Like, this guy's cutting off his arm, ooo, that's so disgusting!! omg, this movie should haunt you forever, and if it doesn't, you're a sicko!!
And what was the purpose of these games anyways? "He was trying to show people the value of life" or something like that, or so I'm told. How??? He puts them in hopeless situations and jerks off while he watches them die through a peephole...
but nevertheless, it was better than any other horror movies I've seen lately...The Ring and The Grudge were supposed to be awesome but both sucked really, really bad...

hey I HAVE to like it or Im not being a loyal aussie digga, writers and directors were Australian. Those guys made that flick on a tight budget over three days yes 3 days, so they've done well enough considering.
