I read in spin Mark guest vocals on a track on the new qotsa album, but I read in Q he isn't on it at all. Whats the truth?

he's definitely recorded some vocals for the album... not 100% sure whether they made it onto the final tracklisting, but i assume they will be.

Son, we live in a world that has walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with guns.
Who's gonna do it?
You!?!?

"…frontman Josh Homme admits his ulterior motive is to get his listeners into bed, not put them to sleep. "This record's vibe is like, let's drink wine and screw," says Homme. "The idea was to have the record be like a long, slow, comfortable fuck."
*shudders*
What about that sounds bad?
Not one thing.

this is from Billboard:
"The disc opens with an eighty-second acoustic song snippet, "Lullaby," sung by former member Mark Lanegan, but barrels quickly into QOTSA's trademark power rock on "Medication" and the relentless "Everybody Knows That You're Insane."
so, there's at least 2 tracks he's recorded with them. but apparently "Precious & Grace" isn't on the album (unless it's the hidden track). or perhaps it'll be released as a B-side.
