ST_P your coach got fired ! With some of the good names without jobs that might have been a great move Portland is going to damn good next year The Seahawks drafted well The Mariners bullpen stinks, we have 3 starters with era's in the low 2's and we are below .500 Colorado is getting their heads handed to them by the Red Wings  and Rick Ankiel is a freak ! and last but not least the Rockies make me angry |

im getting a bit worried about Villa captain Gareth Barry being linked with three of the top four teams in the premiership...
but..
Liverpool dont really need him- the likes of alonso, mascherano, gerrrard, etc.. all mean he would end up being a utility man on the left and a fringes/squad player, which would kill off his England chances in midfield.
Chelsea would be the same thing- makelele, lampard, etc etc.. (he'd end up like Steve Sidwell - ie, fucked)
which leaves Arsenal... which.. i have to admit.. would probably be a good move for him.
but then again, he's spent his whole career at Villa and we've now got a truly great manager who is already looking at 5th or 6th place while working with the smallest squad in the league, and we've got a few quid to spend this summer to build up the squad and do something special next year.
we'll see.

i am a huge basketball fan, and i also play alot at pickup games in my hood.
i'm a clipper fan with the suns as my backup, so my season is over but i'm still watching the playoffs in hopes i will be watching the game the very moment that kobe breaks his leg and is out of the game forever.

I was a Clippers fan for years, until I finally decided that they had a terminal disease, which could only be cured by an owner transplant. I've hated the Lakers since the Showtime years, so now I pretty much just ignore basketball. Makes for a quicker read of the sports section this time of year. |

I like the clippers just because they are not the lakers (and mike dunleavy is a portland guy although his days are surely numbered) the playoffs have been great in the east, the west has not been very competitive outside of the utah series, but watch out folks Portland is coming !
