thank you! thank you! thank you! spamegan
Oct. 11...
Karl I know you're disappointed its El Rey, but it really could be worse.
Wish there was one full band set and one acoustic set nearby, but I'll live.
Yay! I'm so happy! ;D

Seems weird to travel up through CA, hit Seattle and jump back down to Portland. Anyway, at least I know when to expect him.

Yeah, last year he started here in Vancouver and went down the Coast to CA. I'm surprised that he decided to not come back in Vancouver cause it was such a great show. Are those dates official yet? Is there still a little hope for a Vancouver show?

unofficially, I say there is hope for you...these are the dates that are confirmed...maybe canada is just unconfirmed, as of yet.

Well, it doesn't look to good for Vancouver, unless he includes Vancouver between New York and San Diego cause after Seattle he's going down the coast, so that would be a huge surprise if he comes back north! Anyway, I should be able to make the Seattle. It's just gonna be a bit more $$$. But I'm ready to do that for Mark

Hmm...
Pissed there's no Toronto date. Maybe there's hope though. There's a break after the Detroit show. It's less than a 4 hour drive. I've got my fingers crossed.

acoustic shows as well?!
would these be the acoustic shows ive been begging for for nigh-on 8years? and now they decide to play a few of them, but in a different country... after basically playing exactly the same electric set every night in europe?
oh well. london was superb last night. great sound. much better then milton keynes.
acoustic shows in the UK please. i think quite a few people would pay up to about £40 (more than double what tickets on this tour cost) for an acoustic show over here, and the outlay is minimal (you can use smaller venues, you need less road crew etc...) and it would be AN EVENT. as opposed to another gig. it's so easy to do, and would be so good... i cant believe it doesnt ever happen.

'good things are worth waiting for' and then they began. in my opinion hit the city sounded pretty bad on both nights though (it was the only song at the london show which didnt sound superb). he's not singing it properly - his voice is way too low (not quiet, bass-y) during the verses. i think the set for london was exactly the same, except message to mine was added... oh, and shelly brown CAN sing. she's got a good voice, and come to me was great last night. and carlito, i dont care if you're straight, gay or bi-'coastal' ... you're still my favourite person here.

i welcome it and look forward to english control of north america.
i do hope to stay in los angeles however, so I'm requesting that when you round up the indigenous, please allow all us mexicans to stay in los angeles.
i would not wish upon my worst enemy a life without tacos.

There is a multitude of people in this world whose first name is mel - the lovely cheeky monkey is a prime example, as is Mel Smith Mel Brooks Mel B Mel C Mel Bragg Mel Gibson.
I may be any one of these people, or possibly a combination of several. Or I may not.
