My vote goes to number one too. I think the white makes it look like lightfall.

Well, Shoesh said I should, and she knows best, so I'm gonna throw up a few pics of some of my favorites of the jewelry I've made. I draw, too, but I do it rather badly. When I'm bolder I might introduce Fogel. I know the pics are kinda big, but I'm too tired to fiddle right now. This was made for a contest, I'm very proud of it. I love the flower, it's carved from yellow "turquoise". A very heavily adapted design I got from a magazine. OK, last one : a little something gothic cuz it's fun.

This thread just got so much cooler! Love the jewelry and how tall is that painting?! I love oddly shaped paintings.
Might post a pic of my latest painting.

You can. Grab some paint and a brush and canvas. I don't mean to belittle painters with that comment. I have no talent when it comes to painting, but I have 12 canvases up in my apartment right now that I did myself. They're not good or special, but I like them and had fun making them. That's all that really matters. And no, I won't be posting pictures of them here

Yeah Montage is totally right Grumpella. You have to paint for the hell of it, because it's fun to do! And yes, grabbing a whiskey while doing so isn't a bad idea either. No one has to see them, I have a bunch stashed under my bed from when I first started. Had a great time making them though.. Nine Inch Nails blasting.. Southern Comfort.. good times.. Ahem.. back from daydreaming: Go for it!

That's really cool, frauleinkiil, I wish I could paint. Thanks And I'm just gonna agree with the others. If you like it and have fun with it, just pick up that brush and, paint paint, paint! And yes, music goes very well with painting. As do red wine Shoesh, it's 30x90 cm. It's one of my absolute favourite proportions - so the next project will of course be a square canvas. Seriously, that is a scary shape....
