Fingers crossed freulein! Sending one tomorrow, god almighty I could sure use the promotion. I hate the IRS. Hate. Well the position was already filled but another job that suits me waaayyy better did pop up. And I got it!! For no apparent reason. I just have to show up and sign the contract. I was already promised the job of waittress there but now I‘m going to be assistent to the maître! Holy shizzle, that beats the supervisor position muwhahahaa.

Congrats, Shoesh! I've been called in for a interview on Monday. Fingers crossed!!
Old iPod was Debbie (Harry). New is Kathleen (Hanna), laptop is Karen (O). Thinking about Amanda (Palmer), Patti (Smith),Kim (Deal), or some other female artist I admire. Perhaps I should look at writers, painters, poets...

Watching The Tree of Life and I can't believe what a pretentious piece of crap it is!
Edit: ok to be fair, the second half of it was a little bit better...

I've spend about an hour googling some infomercial I saw when I was a kid. Lots of older, sequin clad ladies, hand held stitching device, and a brush that made some cat patch look really fluffy. Either my mind has made it up, or I've ventured into a corner of the world that cannot be googled...

I totally forgot about parachute day!!! Those were brilliant!! And I still got my balancing bird Now: packing. packing packing and hating packing... And crossing my fingers that the bureaucratic hoopla will go through (nothing that'll put the job at jeopardy, but it might be financially tricky when I get home) :/

Thanks, Maidli Packing for travels don't bother me so much, it's more the packing my entire life into boxes that gets to me. For some reason it makes me quite upset and questioning pretty much everything. It wasn't as bad this time around. Maybe I'm getting a bit more used to it

Doing a spot of detective work, and doing something else that I'm not allowed to reveal until the end of next month.

Years of magical living! You must feel blessed. Exactly how I feel at the minute because I just finished my morning qigong with Master Peng. Best teacher ever and best thing I have ever done for myself! www.robertpeng.com

What kinda telescope did ya buy? Just been nosey... I got this one. There's a slightly cheaper one without a motor drive which I probably should have gone for as it's a bit crap and it's easier to just unscientifically wave the thing about until something hoves into view... I have a couple of filters but they're as bit lo-fi so need to spend a few quid at Christmas (or, even better, get other people to do that for me. Spirit Of The Season and all that), but the Moon's being especially bright and lovely at the mo, as this pic from tonight (taken with iPhone through the scope) hopefully shows.
