Myspace page here. Band members: Jeff Klein David Rosser Cully Symington Rick G. Nelson III Ashley Dzerigian Debut album in early 2009, and track clips sound good - though I'm sure Sleepwalking was supposed to be on Jeff's own Let's Be Enemies

Did Klien's solo album numbered to 100 come out? Under Asphalt? Cindycashdollar here said that she received hers, but I know of nobody else who ever got it. I asked last year (around this time) via myspace and was told hat it'd be posted 'soon', but to be honest as nobody had mentioned it in the meantime, I assumed that mine had got lost in the post. If anyone else wants to ask the question, I'd be interested to hear what's happened to it this time

A more formal introduction. That fridge/pinball table look familiar... And more tracks uploaded to their myspace today. You lucky, lucky bastards.

This sounds great. Especially "Sweet Chariot." Wow! Can't believe I didn't check this out until today. And Smoking Loon makes good, affordable wines. Good choice!

True. Reminds me a bit of a young Joan Rivers & Rick Parfitt. Ah, those were the days...
The Sleepwalking 12" sounds like an interesting prospect though.

Newsingtons:
Also: 18 Mar 2009 20:00 SXSW Austin, Texas 19 Mar 2009 20:00 SXSW Austin, Texas 20 Mar 2009 20:00 SXSW Austin, Texas 21 Mar 2009 20:00 SXSW Austin, Texas
Also also: Visit Kenneth Parris III's site. Not only is it full of really nice artwork, but also contains another Jeff Klein song as background music, entitled This Heart is a Pump. It's very, very, VERY good.
Also also also: Now known as My Jerusalem, which is probably a good move, as a) It's a bit easier to find when doing searches; and b) It doesn't have quite such big religious connotations and the attendant loons that lurk on the fringes that come with them - as Rich Machin noted in his Soulsavers blog (back in the good old days when it was there) and interviews where certain types had gotten the wrong end of the stick because of the bandname.

"Jerusalem" was definitely way better a name than "My Jerusalem." The first was simple, mystical, powerful, the second, just by adding those two little letters, renders it too self-conscious and cutesy.

"Jerusalem" on its own is a massive pain in the arse to do google searches on. It has a tendency to get mentioned rather a lot... Anyhoos: i know what you are thinking. you're thinking something looks different, right? You are correct. You have all, for better or worse, inherited us. Claim us as your own. Welcome the still new and improved....My Jerusalem. At first it may throw you off but say it few times with us. My Jerusalem. This is My Jerusalem.
Q: What are listening to? A: My Jerusalem Q: Your what? A: You heard me the first time sucka!
It gets a little bit more to the point of our intentions, and it also avoids getting sued by a swedish christian rock band or a 70 british hair metal group that both maintain some rights in their respective regions. We dont want any confusion and we want to be able to bring our music and message every region we can. So we've given ourselves an upgrade. So its a win win situation.

And here's as good a place as any to mention that Jeff Klein's debut and previously almost-impossible-to-find release You'll Never Get to Heaven if You Break My Heart was re-released as an mp3 download just before Christmas to almost no fanfare on iTunes and Amazon's mp3 store. It's fucking marvellous.

not to be a negative pants or anything, but i think i liked the old name better. i know why they had to change it and all that....i'm just saying.....My Jerusalem doesn't really twiddle my twaddle. i'm sure they don't care if my twaddle gets twiddled.....just thought i'd voice an opinion.
