Cindycashdollar here said that she received hers, but I know of nobody else who ever got it. I asked last year (around this time) via myspace and was told hat it'd be posted 'soon', but to be honest as nobody had mentioned it in the meantime, I assumed that mine had got lost in the post. If anyone else wants to ask the question, I'd be interested to hear what's happened to it this time

I'm a happy camper....as long as this doesn't interfere with Jeffs solo stuff, I'm getting twitchy
From his last myspace:
there are 2 albums that will be coming out in 2009 from our camp. My jekyll and hyde have split into 2 seperate bodies
The first and most exciting is a new band album. The band is called Jerusalem and features some people that have been close to me So... welcome to the world, Jerusalem! you can sample some clips on myspace at JERUSALEM! you can hear some different tracks in their entirety at FACEBOOK please add us to both! Look for a new (as of now self titled and containing 18 songs) album coming in 2009 internationally....everywhere...seriously.
Is Jeff Klein solo action dead? No. There will be a Jeff Klein release entitled The Posthumous Collection coming in 2009. This is a very stripped down, low fi suicide letter affair that will make (smog) sound like a parade on acid.
we've also changed the myspace player on the Jeff Klein page to span several albums and represent better
Jeff Klein's refreshingly interesting myspace page here.
And have this as well.

Well folks, we are excited about the coming year ahead of us. 2009 will see Jerusalem hitting the streets in many ways. Here is a sneak preview of whats to come. The next 2 months, we will have some special merchandise available including shirt designs by Ken Parris 3 and a Limited Edition Sleepwalking 12" which include the album version of Sleepwalking as well as several remixes and cover versions by some of our favorite artists and talented friends. This also features artwork by Parris 3. At the beginning of March will be hitting the road for an East Coast tour leading up to several appearances at this years SXSW Festival. March will also see the release of a Jerusalem EP featuring 2 album tracks and 3 non-album tracks, leading up to the full length album release a few months afterward and many more live shows. Our spirits are high and our love is without limit. May 2009 bring you everything you ever hoped for..... at least, thats our goal.

The Ep is mastered. Its entitled Without Feathers. It includes 2 songs from the upcoming full length. and 3 others. The artwork is a beautiful painting by Ken Parris. It will be ready for consumption at the beginning of March...
See you very soon

Also also: Visit Kenneth Parris III's site. Not only is it full of really nice artwork, but also contains another Jeff Klein song as background music, entitled This Heart is a Pump. It's very, very, VERY good.
Also also also: Now known as My Jerusalem, which is probably a good move, as a) It's a bit easier to find when doing searches; and b) It doesn't have quite such big religious connotations and the attendant loons that lurk on the fringes that come with them - as Rich Machin noted in his Soulsavers blog (back in the good old days when it was there) and interviews where certain types had gotten the wrong end of the stick because of the bandname.

"Jerusalem" was definitely way better a name than "My Jerusalem." The first was simple, mystical, powerful, the second, just by adding those two little letters, renders it too self-conscious and cutesy.

"Jerusalem" on its own is a massive pain in the arse to do google searches on. It has a tendency to get mentioned rather a lot...
i know what you are thinking. you're thinking something looks different, right? You are correct. You have all, for better or worse, inherited us. Claim us as your own. Welcome the still new and improved....My Jerusalem. At first it may throw you off but say it few times with us. My Jerusalem. This is My Jerusalem.
Q: What are listening to? A: My Jerusalem Q: Your what? A: You heard me the first time sucka!
It gets a little bit more to the point of our intentions, and it also avoids getting sued by a swedish christian rock band or a 70 british hair metal group that both maintain some rights in their respective regions. We dont want any confusion and we want to be able to bring our music and message every region we can. So we've given ourselves an upgrade. So its a win win situation.

And here's as good a place as any to mention that Jeff Klein's debut and previously almost-impossible-to-find release You'll Never Get to Heaven if You Break My Heart was re-released as an mp3 download just before Christmas to almost no fanfare on iTunes and Amazon's mp3 store. It's fucking marvellous.

not to be a negative pants or anything, but i think i liked the old name better. i know why they had to change it and all that....i'm just saying.....My Jerusalem doesn't really twiddle my twaddle. i'm sure they don't care if my twaddle gets twiddled.....just thought i'd voice an opinion.
Don't you know there ain't no devil, there's just God when he's drunk.
