Why wait? It's not like they won't give you a refund if it doesn't go ahead....
Considering your stressed state yesterday I thought you'd be all over this!

whoops, i misunderstood. i thought you meant mondo generator might be supporting, but now i realise it's only nick acoustic. like at cherry bar and underage gig wise, i was referring to the melbourne gigs. i've bought tix to both gigs, so i'm just praying that i won't get asked for id. or else i'll die. just out of curiosity, what do over agers wear to gigs like mark lanegan? hehe.

purple robes and animal skulls. bring a scythe, too. i wouldn't wear purple, the bouncer might get suspicious. and you can never go wrong with steel capped boot, they love that shit.

just out of curiosity, what do over agers wear to gigs like mark lanegan? hehe. it doesn't matter, if you look young they'll ask. i get asked EVERY time, and i've been 18 for 10 years!

Looks like that's not happening now, and Nick is only supporting Mark's current US dates.

Brisbane has the Giants of Science in support. Which is odd, but should be ok.

Melbourne's got Hugo Race at Ding Dong and The Tendrils at the Corner - neither of which I've heard of although I know Hugo Race was a founding member of the Bad Seeds.

awesome gig! i got in too! front row centre don't have much time to share details but mark looked okay, he has black hair now however towards the end, he looked so fucked, which is perhaps why they skipped 'one hundred days' was interesting to see 'the band', never seen them before. quite tattooed, and great, especially the guitarist with the hair (i couldn't see the other dude too well and the girl singer was beautiful, she had quite a nice voice lots of improv, especially during resurrection song (so glad they played!) and fix (was meant to be the last song, but they came back on to do 'creeping coastline') and they played skeletal history! i just wish it wasnt so late and quishy because i was tired and sore, but it was a good gig nonetheless can't wait for the corner tonight! oh, and mark was wearing my shirt last night, hehe it was so funny, after fix when they were meant to stay off, everyone took the setlists, and then they came back out and mark was looking for it, 'twas quite funny lots were quite drunk too merch was posters only, quite nice

Great show in a small venue. Mark looked pretty good especially considering the recent food poisoning and a long flight from Seattle to Melbourne). He thanked the audience several times and sang the second half of the main set with his eyes open. The poster produced for the Melbourne shows only is great and only $10 (unfortunately that's the only merchandise)
Set list was roughly: (unsure of the order of the 2nd half of the main set, and feel free to correct me)
Sideways in reverse Wedding dress Hit the city Resurrection Song No Easy Action Miracle Message To Mine Come to me On Jesus' Program Don't Forget Me Low (?) I'll Take Care Of You Methamphetamine Blues Skeletal History When your number isn't up Like little Willie John Driving Death Valley blues
************* Sleep With Me Pendulum Fix ************* Creeping Coastline Of Lights
Doing it all again tonight at The Corner!

Apparently Mark was on the radio yesterday afternoon. I'm guessing this was Triple J as they're supporting the tour. Did anyone happen to catch it and please tell me it was just an interview and I didn't miss an acoustic set?

ohhh, check this out: www.triplej.abc.net.au/mel/It's on Friday morning, and will be an acoustic set. This should be good, as Mel seems to be a big fan of Mark.

correction of set list: (from what i recall - not exact either, but i do know that resurrection was before jesus' program and meth blues was last for the first bit - don't think they played 'dont forget me')
Sideways in reverse Wedding dress Hit the city No Easy Action Miracle Message To Mine Like little Willie John Come to me Resurrection Song On Jesus' Program Low (?) I'll Take Care Of You Skeletal History When your number isn't up Driving Death Valley blues Methamphetamine Blues
************* Sleep With Me Pendulum Fix ************* Creeping Coastline Of Lights
the original playlist on stage encore stated
100 days sleep with me pendulum creeping coastline and fix
where are the people that pinched the setlist when we need em!
