I have school during the day but am generally working overnight...
I started my evening at 10 by getting here...talked to a friend for an hour, then went and did 45 minutes of work (handled some explosives, some large needles, etc), watched a movie for two hours...aaaand just realized I forgot about my samples I'm running tests on....guess I'll have to redo those. But first I think I'll go home and get that bag of chips I meant to bring with me.
that is the last thing you want to do on a graveyard shift
you must have ghosts in your facility. Hunt them for a bit, always good for a laugh. I like scaring newer co-workers by telling them to get something from the old empty isolation ward and mentioning that some say they are haunted.
The real art of conversation is not only to say the right thing in the right place, but also to leave unsaid the wrong thing at the tempting moment.
why are we all on overnight shifts? is it anti social behaviour? I can work any shift I want and yet here I am
I have to set something up and then wait 8 hours, so I figured I'd set it up before bed, sleep, then come back in the morning...but lucky me, it finished a lot faster than usual and I got roped into being here all night... I have school during the day, so I kind of have to work at night anyways
