I seem to remember predicting that cornell needed a 'return to his roots' for his next career move.. You and everyone, but Cornell's tweet was about the fan club getting back together not the band. They have a bunch of merchandise coming out like a boxed set and un heard material etc so it's promo for that. We have yet to hear any tourdates being announced. |

Here's the entire tweet it includes the fanclub, which folded in '98. The press only seems to pick up the line about "the break is over" or it's a mistep on Cornell's part if it doesn't play out to a tour, but Matt Cameron will also being touring with Pearl Jam through the summer and they are already on some festival bills. Honestly, if a tour happened, you know Timbaland would be in the backgrounds making everything sound like a autotune or vocoder had been used, and every 30 minutes you'd have a jeans commercial going full blast on loudspeakers, maybe Chris would join in with a megaphone..
