One must also remember that despite Cornell's goofy antics: Kim Thayil is the SHIT. Ben Sheperd is the SHIT. Matt Cameron is pretty good too. I'll go. Amen. And Matt Cameron is also the SHIT. One of my favorites. Here is what you got if you were cool enough to join the gang : Thanks to all for signing up. Stay tuned for more details! Loudest of Love - Ben, Chris, Kim and Matt.

it's like the mid 90s again.
..except older.
..and fatter.
..and more business-minded and cynical.

yeah, i was on it pretty early, and I guess a lot have followed, judging by the amount i've uploaded. i'm just listening to it now, & it sounds pretty good quality. the forum over at soundgarden world is pretty active. a few negative posts about unavailability of tix to the first show, and the difficulty of obtaining the record store day single, but i think most of the people there are genuinely happy about the reunion. i am.

I WILL go and see them...but Chris...seriously?
Matt, Kim and Ben shall be a bounty for the senses. If Matt is playing with 'Gairdin' will he still be in Pearl Jam?
I know they totally won't, it would kill Cornell anyways, but if they played 'Far Beyond The Wheel' I would blow up. Within the context of this kind of gig that is ok. I'll probably take away a few 'Scream' fans with me. Hehe!

Somebody got vocal lessons for Xmas last year. That was very surprising. After the butchering of TOTD with Pearl Jam, I expected this whole show to sound as unbearable as Pretty Noose.

I actually thought the boot of the show sounded pretty damn good. Cornell really surprised me with his vocal performance...Kim, Ben, and Matt sounded stellar, as I'd expect nothing less

Yeah BTW was pretty damn impressive. That's always been one of my fav solos from Kim. I'm shocked at how well Cornell nailed the vocals. A bit of noticable strain aside, he killed that one--probably one of their hardest songs to pull off, vocally.

maybe the chris-cornell-got-abducted-by-aliens-and-replaced-by-a-clone-theory was all true and they've now brought him back again?
