maybe the chris-cornell-got-abducted-by-aliens-and-replaced-by-a-clone-theory was all true and they've now brought him back again? Could be. The probe has apparently been removed from his anus.

They're fine for active bands in between real albums, but for bands that have been stagnant for years, with bootlegs abounding, no one cares...

Those were my thoughts exactly...until i bought the album. this is much better than any of their bootlegs i have heard. i'm listening to it a lot since i got it, and it sounds fantastic. and thankfully, there is no audioslave or chris cornell solo on this album

Chris is rough in spots but always was past 91. It sounds pretty fucking awesome to my ears though. I forgot how much I loved some of their music.

I still say Timbaland is gonna sneak into the mix. Just you wait. They are gonna lure people into a fake lull of feeling like everythings gonna be alright again. And then.. BAM! Timbaland.

I kinda thought the whole growing his hair out thing was just part of the mid-life crisis.

Depends. It could be brutally hot, and smoggy. Though Toronto is usually fun in the summer. And I'm no fan of the amphitheater, but it wouldn't be a bust on a nice day. I guess it depends on how much you like Soundgarden.

Lucky you Solitude! (Don't I know you? ) I was in a meeting during the Philly pre-sale and the tix were gone by the time I got to my phone. Crossing my fingers I'll get tix during the general sale. I can't miss this.

I can't miss this. I can't believe pre-sale tickets sold out so damn fast. I went out to lunch with a coworker at noon, thinking theres no way in hell there are enough soundgardenworld.com members in the Philadelphia area to gobble them up. Boy I was wrong.

Believe me, there are plenty in the area alone, not to mention those who plan on traveling to see the show. At first I was glad Philly was one of the first shows announced, but now I realize we are competing with the rest of the fan base for tix, which sucks for us. I had no problem getting tix for Cornell's solo show at the Keswick, it was harder to score Borgata tix but I did that too. Add SG to the mix, and it ups the ante big time. I will be at that show, even if it means standing on Delaware Ave. listening.

I seem to recall paying less than $30 per ticket (including fees) when I saw Soundgarden on their last, pre-break-up tour. Now their tickets are at least $60 a pop? Goddamn, nostalgia's a pretty neat way to cash in!

meh--the price seems commensurate with other shows that size. I will happily foot the bill for Ben's new pad if I am front and center. ;D Hope all of you that want tix get them!! Mine feel golden.
