Hi, new member here. I'm a long time follower of the works of Mr. Lanegan, but I've never considered myself a real hardcore-fan - until yesterday. I've been to the show in Vienna (my second Lanegan-concert) and it was simply amazing! I remember my first Lanegan-show in 2012, also in Vienna. I liked it back then, but wasn't blown away like yesterday. I also remember the sound being really bad, so maybe that (and my beer-consumption) clouded my perception.
Anyway, yesterday after the show I went to the merch-table and saw all the amazing live-LPs und CDs, were I left a lot of money. Owning only the Hollywood-CD from my first gig (although I wasn't that excited, I had to buy something :-)) I bought the Dublin-LP, the Amsterdam-LP, the Bristol-LP, the Oslo 7" and the Dark Mark Christmas-CD. There were also other CDs but my wallet was already empty. Now I want to collect them all. I looked on discogs and bought four CDs at a reasonable price, the rest is very expensive. So I went very excited when I joined this forum in my newly developed Lanegan-euphoria and discovered this thread. So I'd like to ask, if some of you are selling the stuff I'm still looking for. Sadly, I've nothing to trade but money. So if you have anything to sell from that list, be welcome to send me an offer, thank you!
CD Live At Leeds, Brudenell Social Club, April 24, 2010 (Europe-Version, 16 Tracks) Isobel Campbell & Mark Lanegan – Live At The Barbican London 2010 Live In Studio Antwerp December 2011 (either version) Amsterdam - Leap Year, February 29, 2012 Warsaw - Proxima Club, 19/03/2012 Live In Düsseldorf Zakk - August 27, 2015 Teatro Kapital - Live In Madrid April 1. 2012 Live At The ABC Glasgow April 21, 2016 LP The Night Porter, Live In The House Of The Lord, Union Chapel, London, 18/8/2010 Play Blues Funeral, Mexico City, Plaza Condesa, 9/4/2012 (either version) Istanbul IKSV Salon Dec. 11, 2012 (either version) Dark Mark Does Christmas 2012 (either version) High, Wild and Free - Live In Cleveland - November 4, 2014 DVD The Ghost That Wouldn't Die (Live 2012)
Just a tip don't pay too much for Düsseldorf wherever you get it. The quality control person must have been high when that one was released. The rest are all gems. Thank you for the tip! The one's I've listened to already sound really great.

I'll ask him after the show if I can...since it is his birthday, maybe he would be willing.

Sure they were on the merch desk a couple of years back? Worth tweeting him - there maybe some left in the cupboard??

I can't help wonder why Mark doesn't make these live performance CD's (or album downloads) available to his fans to purchase on Bandcamp or similar website. I see this as a win-win solution for both Mark Lanegan and his fans who are able to purchase these albums online, while the artist receives payment for his work (and rightly so)

Selling them in person at shows makes it a lot easier to "get away with" and they can be passed off as bootlegs or the like.

Selling them in person at shows makes it a lot easier to "get away with" and they can be passed off as bootlegs or the like. I could see that. I can also see that those releases are another reason for you to attend a show. If anyone can buy them online that's less incentive to go to a show. And I get that not everyone gets the opportunity to see Mark live. He may not play "your town", but travelling for a show isn't uncommon. I've seen other artists do the same thing and have "tour only" releases or at least "tour only" versions of previously released material like different artwork or vinyl color (see Melvins). I count myself lucky to live in WA where Mark plays frequently and I have access to these releases, but it hasn't always been that way. I would love many of the earlier releases, but the rarity of them is what keeps me hunting.

no dates for Austria so far, but they could be added in the future...don't know. Perhaps someone who's attending in the EU could grab me some. Postage and handling from overseas would be a pain, I guess.
