I'm getting pissed, it's been a week since it should have been shipped and still no word from Light in the Attic. They haven't responded to my email either. Once again I should have just bought it off amazon if I wanted it as soon as possible. I emailed them yesterday, and got a shipping confirmation later that night. Which, as I preordered about an hour after it went live, is a bit of a bugger. Can only presume that initial demand was higher than expected and a small, bespoke label suddenly found that they had a LOT more assembling, packing & shipping work than they expected. All of which is a sod, but I'd much rather deal with labels who put having a good end product above having an efficient mailroom

Mine's taken 2 days so far to get from one part of Seattle to another. There's something weird about the post out there. I ordered an Elliott Smith poster that was sent on January 3rd. It got from Portland to Kent, Washington on the 9th and hasn't moved since.

Yeah, mine's in Kent at the moment - presuming that's USPS's hub. Sadly, that's the last I'll be able to track it with them as next thing I guess will be in a bag, off to the airport, getting stuck in Mount Pleasant Customs Depot, and then here. The bit where it actually goes 4,800 miles from the US to the UK will actually be the fastest part...

It was at Kent for two days, and current status is another sorting office in San Francisco. Been there for two days, so hoping to see some more movement soon!

Mine got trapped in a sorting facility 90 minutes from my house. It entered the sorting facility on Monday, left the facility on Monday... and then re-entered the same sorting facility on Tuesday. One more day and I would have stormed the Jersey City Sorting Facility myself and dug through all the boxes to get to it. Fortunately, it arrived before it came to that. I still haven't had time for a proper listening session, but I've been oohing and aahing over the gorgeous packaging. Discovering the joy of collecting vinyl may have been the worst thing for my wallet, but man, is it ever rewarding when an item like this comes along! In re: the nice little surprise on the last page of the booklet that others have referred to, this seems like as good a place as any to say thanks to raeni and everyone else here for making this forum and the main site such a great resource. I've been lurking here for a year or so. I arrived very late (and based on my past music interests, stupidly late) to the Lanegan party, and catching up on his career, and all the collaborations, and all the one-off tracks here and there, would have been a daunting task without One Whiskey's help. So thanks, y'all! Here's hoping this wonderful anthology and this site enable many more future would-be Lanegan superfans!

Still waiting on my yellow vinyl too, which is currently residing in Los Angeles, but has at least been processed & is now waiting to be shipped to the U.K. I'm glad I opted to order the CD from amazon U.K. though, & have been listening to it for a couple of days now. Stand out tracks for me, just off the top of my head would be 'Leaving New River Blues', 'Sympathy', 'To Valencia Courthouse', 'A Song While Waiting' & 'Halcyon Daze'. Also love the vocal version of 'Blues for D'. A very impressive package all round I'd say.

Wow!!! Just got the yellow vinyl and played side 1...first 3 songs put the Bubblegum pressing to shame and Mirrored just sounds incredible. Dead quiet pressing, amazing sonics, first rate packaging and artwork...LITA really knocked it out of the park on this one; an absolute bargain...gotta get back to side 2 i really hope Bubblegum with get a proper reissue at some point. it obviously needs to be a 2XLP. and Field Songs needs to be issue period.

No idea where mines been sitting for the past 2days tho as I can't work out how to track as location is blank but it's still got at least a 14hr flight LA to Sydney (well that's a passenger flight time) then get up to Brisbane so guess I will just keep hanging and resisting!!!

Really sorry to hear of everyone's delays in receiving their packages; one yellow copy arrived safe & sound in New Zealand yesterday. If it's any consolation, those yet to feast their eyes will be well pleased when the packages finally find their new homes! In re: the nice little surprise on the last page of the booklet that others have referred to, this seems like as good a place as any to say thanks to raeni and everyone else here for making this forum and the main site such a great resource. Agreed! i really hope Bubblegum with get a proper reissue at some point. it obviously needs to be a 2XLP. and Field Songs needs to be issue period. Agreed, particularly concerning Field Songs. The presence of the Field Songs tracks on this box set are what made it a must-purchase for me.

As I said in another thread, there are tentative plans afoot to re-release the Sub Pop Lanegan stuff at some point this year (amongst other things). As for this one, wherever mine left for yesterday morning, it hasn't got there yet. But quality over punctuality and all that

I absolutely love "Big White Cloud".
One thing bugs me, though. Why are the Blues Funeral album and singles covers included in the liner notes? The album was a 2012 release and the anthology, rightfully, excludes BF tracks. Not sure how (or why) that works.

At a guess, it was to provide as complete a solo discography as possible. For completion's sake on one hand, but also to ensure that new fans (of which there will be a fair few now this set's out) know that there's newer stuff to buy from the nice people who provided the publishing licences for the stuff that's on there (also: it's possible that the running order etc was finalised a looong time before the booklet was done/BF happened)

Can I be the first to point out that the vinyl book only has 16 pages, not 20, as the sticker states?

Can I be the first to point out that the vinyl book only has 16 pages, not 20, as the sticker states? You know pot's legal here in Seattle now, right? THEY'RE TOO FUCKING STONED TO COUNT, MAN! Sorry, I'm on break, my last caller (I work in a call center) thought it would be cute to blow a whistle in my ear and I can't track them down and shove ice picks into their ears, so I'm a little in need of amusement.
