odd, i don't really understand why they would release any other album under the Mad Season name ever again.

Why not? It was no problem when Mark was singing, but now that they may incorporate a new singer its not such a good idea anymore?

I'm not crazy about those "new" songs either but at least he was already part of the Mad Season world. I just feel like Mad Season was a very intimate projects between friends that we're going through similar things. I personally feel it would tarnish that if the band is going to continue with half the members replaced. Just an opinion guys. I feel weird about any band continuing their band name with new people. I never care much for velvet revolver or audioslave but at least they weren't trying to ride on the names of their old bands

McCready playing ANYTHING besides pearl jam is a win for ears of the world! Barrett and Mike are the only ones left, they are the only ones who know the whole story and they are the only ones who can decide whats best for the Mad Season name/brand. If they decide its worth doing again I will most certainly check it out because I am a fan of both. Now that the money is gone I get more intrigued by these projects because there is no gain whatsoever, its just getting whats inside out and that is what making music is all about.

I'm sure Mark would have been involved as well if he wasn't on tour in Europe at the time
