Here are the two other links: www.youtube.com/watch?v=MAx57TCpFugwww.youtube.com/watch?v=U5un3iubhqwI was in Paris too, standing on the left of the stage (close to Mark and Jeff) and I sometimes found that guitar's sound was too loud (I hardly heard Mark's voice on three or four songs). But it was a great concert! Marks and Shelley voices were really wonderful on "Come to me" and "Bombed", I agree with you, Mimie. After the show, Mark, Lyenn and Jeff signed autographs. It was really cool! I talked with Jeff. He's certainly one of nicest guy in the world! And Mark seemed to be happy too. And I saw Warren Ellis in the audience!

No, "Killing Season" was dropped from the set. "Bombed" with Shelley and Jeff was the final song.

I confirm that there were only 2 songs during the encore. I even thought that they would all come back for a second one!

For those who unfortunately do not speak our beautiful language, Mark says that he has just finished another album, due to next spring, with his friend Sietse Van Gorkom!!!!! Best Mark's interview I have read for years mentionning his love for Cobain, tour life and Kraftwerk. Have to disagree with the Cantat part but interview is still nice

Mark said he likes Bertrand Cantat. He told he sang with B.C. a song on Jeffrey Lee Pierce Project and that he loves Cantat's voice. He finds it (his voice) powerful. He says that Cantat is probably one of his favorite singer. Mark knows that B.C. was in prison because he killed his girlfriend. It's a terrible event but Mark thinks that Bertrand had paid for this murder.
Sorry for the mistakes. I did my best. English isn't my native language...

Excellent gig tonight in Edinburgh.
First support looked like David Bowie circa his Thin White Duke era but his visuals were impressive and he could be one to watch.
Duke did the second support.
Setlist was varied. In no particular order (what I remember): Emperor Sister Harborview Hospital Ode to Sad Disco Gravedigger Metamephamine Blues Riot In My House Bombed One Hundred Days Hit The City Come to Me Bleeding Muddy Water Harvest Home Floor of the Ocean Beehive Nocturne Death's Head Tattoo One Way Street Deepest Shade

vip for Dublin has been taken off the ticketmaster website as well I think it was a bit hopeful that people would have 100 euro to spare plus ticket price in December. A bit gutted cos i managed to scrape together enough to buy VIP to get my desperate hands on those snazzy glasses case

We got 1 hour and 10 minutes tonight including a one song encore. Mark to be in extreme pain every time he moved from the mic stand with the limp. Not much new merch tonight just guitar picks and gym bags!

Jesus that Dublin show was good. Even the Gravediggers Song didn't sound like a one man band falling down the stairs for a change. I think Shelley should tour with Mark more often. For years it's sounded to me like Mark is going through the motions and pacing himself, then he wakes up and belts out three or four numbers during a set and everyone goes home happyish. Tonight nuance was kicked to the side (Deepest Shade got trampled on) and even the dodgy disco songs worked, most songs were a little faster and a lot harder. Bleeding Muddy Water was aggressive (tee-hee). Mark just sounded like he gave a damn and the rest of the band went in with him. Normally I get the impression he is minding his voice for the long tour ahead but tonight the vibe was more couldn't give a fuck. It was just a joy to see.

I'm really glad you enjoyed the show last night - it sounds like it was amazing. But based on my own experience I have to disagree with your assessment of Mark's performances prior to this show. I live in the US. We get way less of an opportunity to see him perform and he has said pretty openly that he does not like to tour here, but I have never felt like he was just going through the motions on any songs at any of the shows I have attended. And its not just me being a fangirl or whatever haha My son is 25 and one of the most difficult people I know to impress and he goes on about how great the shows we have attended are and the quality of the band and of Mark's voice to anyone who will listen.

Not much new merch tonight just guitar picks and gym bags! I noticed that at Edinburgh. He walked to the merchandise stand afterwards with a walking stick. I hope he takes some time off the road to get treatment be it surgery or rest. His health is the most important thing here.
