Anthony Bourdain and his frequent collaborators at Zero Point Zero Production are currently putting the finishing touches on the tenth season of their freewheelin’, award-winning CNN travel series, Parts Unknown. In this new batch of episodes, Tony will eat street food in Singapore, milk cows with Eric Ripert in the French Alps, attend a pig roast in Pittsburgh, and visit Fela Kuti’s family in Lagos. This season’s journey will also include a 10-hour train ride through Sri Lanka, dinner with Francis Ford Coppola in Southern Italy, a hangout session with Mark Lanegan in Seattle, and a crab feast in Puerto Rico.

A little distressing to me that it's on the same time as The Walking Dead here. But I will watch Mark first, zombies later on.

Well that was an unexpected, random ending... spoiler alert warning (so don't read if you... well, you know): people of the episode singing along to Lanegan's Strange Religion at the end. So that's what Bourdain meant by (from link below) "I want to thank and acknowledge the great filmmaker Paul Thomas Anderson here. We shamelessly ripped off a particularly beautiful concept from his film Magnolia for the final sequence of the show. It worked out so well the first time—and, as you will see, it works powerfully again." explorepartsunknown.com/seattle/bourdains-field-note-seattle/

Was the live parts taken from the Seattle show or was it shot for Parts unknown? Jeff Fielder posted on facebook on July, 26: Ok. Cat's out of the bag. Played four songs with Mark For Anthony Bourdain Parts Unknown/Seattle. Filmed at the Royal Room with Drew Church bass and Michael Musburger drums. Martin Feveyear Audio. Dinner segment taped at Ocho Ballard Probably air in the spring. What a night! Thanks to the amazing crew and the staff at Royal Room and Ocho. So glad it all worked out. Cheers.JF.

RIP Anthony Bourdain. I ran a race in Central Park yesterday and wore a sign tribute to him. Gosh, I don't really watch tv but his was the only show I actually made an effort to tune in to Attachments:
