What really makes me sad is that Mark and his band are going to lose a lot of money this year with all these concerts cancelled or postponed. No concerts means no income for him and his musicians... I think we all here preordered "Straight Songs of sorrow" and "Sing backward and weep". What else can we do to help him and his band?

Stay strong folks. I was coming from Australia so at this stage I’ve lost a fair bit!! I’ve been able to get a couple of refunds for UK trains/hotel but only voucher exchanges for Eurostar/London train - no word from Qantas yet and Brussels hotel no refund!!! Also I was coming over in Dec to house/dogsit so if that still happens I will then have a dilemma whether whether to stay on til Apr or do another trip 😝

Well maybe he should finally make all those physical only bootlegs available digitally so that we can buy them.

Check Discogs for what it´s been sold for there: www.discogs.com/Dark-Mark-Dark-Mark-Does-Christmas-2012/master/609851Still, very expensive! (even the CD)

Whew, glad I bought my version of Dark Mark back in 2012...and had it signed Totally agree. You see a lot of these prices for out of print items from scalpers. I wouldn't be surprised if he reissues it again on a future tour.

I’m kind of glad this was postponed to next year, because I wasn’t going to be able to go this May :/ So hopefully in 2021 we’ll be there!

Where is the official statement on postponing? Haven't seen anything yet. Ten days ago he tweeted a reply saying it was ‘cancelled unfortunately’ I guess AB are waiting on him or the Belgium rules as it’s says they are closed until 3 May....

Regardless of whatever the AB decides in the matter, there's still the US travel ban in effect on top of anything else

When will there be confirmation about the UK tour?
Glasgow is in a couple of weeks and Ticketmaster is still selling tickets for then.

It isn't helped by Mark's website showing no tour dates and the website of the venue is conveniently broken in the gig listings area. Some communication from one of the relevant organisers would be appreciated.

Today's announcement from Scottish government is that lockdown will remain until at least 28th May so this gig cannot take place as venue will be closed.

I did a lot of digging to get information on this Friday's Glasgow gig. Still no emails from organisers or Ticketmaster and event on Facebook is unchanged with tickets still on sale for Friday. This really is an unacceptable way to do business.
We are still in lockdown and there will almost certainly be no mass gatherings before the end of the year.
I went to the Facebook event for the gig. The public aren't allowed to post on it so this time I clicked on the promoter link, Triple G and scrolled down their posts on their page and they had a post for for cancelled and rescheduled gigs. Friday was listed as postponed with a new date to be confirmed.
Do these people seriously not realise they should be contacting ticket holders at least by email or text and updating events on social media they own?
Apologies for the rant but this is truly dismal customer service.

So far the only notifications I've gotten about shows I had tickets for where when they had actually rescheduled the shows. Then they announced the new dates and that tickets were still good.
My guess is they assume everyone already knows there will be no shows at least through the summer [some artists have rebooked for fall, even though they may end up rescheduling again!] I imagine the promoters, venues, and bands are all having a tough time right now trying to preserve the city to city order of their tour dates while they rebook everything, for every band, everywhere - and they still have no guarantee the new dates they book will happen. I do know they prefer that no one turn in their tickets - they want to reschedule and then announce that your ticket is good, in the hopes they won't be flooded with requests for refunds if they simply announce 'cancelled'.

Fair point to an extent but its now 4 days to the date of the gig.

Some of the French dates are now postponed to March 2021. I read this sentence too often these days but stay safe everyone.

The gig is obv not happening and what Raeni says is happening everywhere so when they are in the position they’ll offer refunds or tix can be used for the new date
