Bleed All Over must have been released prematurely; it's been pulled from Spotify today and not available anywhere else (far as I can tell).
Update: Looks like the song is now due out next Monday, 23 Mar

Yep, it's available to purchase too. This one took me completely by surprise; was not expecting a song to sound like this on this album. Has a very modern pop flavor to it. It's catchy as hell though, and while the lyrics are bit repetitive as others have noted I love Mark's vocal on it. He doesn't use this kind of vocal much anymore, but that sleepy, slightly upper register croon of his is sublime (sounds similar to the vocal take from Jonas Pap, just sped up, if that makes any sense).

Yeah good song, good vocal(I know what you mean, wheels!) 80s band Japan popped into my head as soon as it started. It too is stuck in my head(good thing). Stay safe!

Well that’s twice I’ve listened in past 2wks and I’m afraid I still don’t like it. Love Skeleton Key and hope the other songs are not like this one ☝️

It's written on Deezer that a new song, "Stockholm City Blues", will be on line on Wednesday, April 22. Can you read the same information on Spotify?

I don't see anything on Spotify about a new song releasing next week, but I wouldn't be surprised if it were true. Like Somebody's Knocking, he seems to release about 3-4 singles before the album drops so we're due for another this month!

Was just thinking today that it will be four weeks since Bleed All Over next week so we are due for another one! The description of Stockholm City Blues in the review I posted sounded really good.

Great song. Has a Scraps At Midnight vibe to it; rather sparse instrumentation that kind of reminds me of something Gustavo Santaolalla would write. Mark sounds solid as usual. Anyone craving a tune that sounds like his older solo records will probably dig this one.

4* from Mojo this month.
"Just six months on from Somebody's Knocking, another excellent full-lengther.
Writing your autobiography is often a transformative experience, and so it has been for Mark Lanegan. The erstwhile Screaming Tree, who's been on a creative roll anyway this past decade, decided to follow authoring recent memoir Sing Backwards And Weep with an album explicitly referencing key events and co-protagonists. Clattering experimental opener I Wouldn't Want To Say reveals the agonising process of overcoming his reluctance to open up, while folk picking Hanging On (For DRC) touches on his drug-fuelled capers with Earth's Dylan Carlson, and the mutedly orchestrated Stockholm City Blues mines a low point in his addiction. Self-credited as it was conceived solo (alongside regular sidekick Alain Johannes), the album's guestlist includes Led Zeppelin's John Paul Jones, but also Lanegan's wife Shelley Brien, who co-writes twice, and duets on This Game Of Love in luscious Nancy Sinatraesque tones. The freshness of allowing us into his private world, most importantly, fuels Lanegan's third rock/electronic beauty on the bounce" Andrew Perry wrote.
You can tell I'm stuck inside - wouldn't normally have typed this out

I posted this already on Reddit, but "Stockholm City Blues" is my favorite of the songs so far. It reminds me a little bit of "Out of Nowhere" from Bubblegum.

Had a chance to hear the record and I sure am interested how this place will react to it. It's definitely the most experimental record Mark has ever done, certainly not some return to the roots.

I can definitely hear the influence of Downelling on many tracks - the opener, which is absolutely frenetic, electronic track that erupts with disorted guitar in the last minute or Internal Hourglass Discussion.
Churchbells, Ghosts has almost jazzy, Twin Peaksy vibe with beautiful piano throughout and Mark singing in his higher register Lord don't you hear me crying, don't you hear me saying goodbye. Heartbreaking song.
Daylight In The Nocturnal House is another beautiful lament, At Zero Below has fantastic country fiddle from Warren Ellis over pulsating beat and Dulli on the backing vocal.
I feel it's very minimalistic album, different to what he has been putting out lately. It probably feels closest to No Bells On Sunday EP. Really liked it.

Great descriptions, safe to say I'm even more pumped to hear it. Mark singing in his higher register is a bit rarer these days but it's my absolute favorite style of his vocal arsenal; incredibly soulful and authentic. Can't wait

Loved the Bells EP, but hated Downwelling. Guess I have to wait two more weeks to finally be able to listen to SSoS and build my own opinion. Liked the three songs so far, though.

I totaly agree with you, jho! I don't like "Downwelling" at all, but I like "Not Bells on Sunday" EP. The next two weeks promise to be very long...

I thought Downwelling was great, so I'm even more excited for the album.
