7 dec Roeselare Belgium
Show was ok, ML voice sounded good. Best performance is easy, burning jacobs ladder. Worst performancs also easy, Emperor
Btw his signing session took maybe 5 min or less. Wanted to shake his hand or whatever, but he was gone before my beer was empty haha.
*** burning jacobs ladder, name and number, gospel plow ** gazing from the shore, disbelief suspension, bleeding muddy water * the rest, the usual songs, ok but nothing special
Skip please! dark disco jag, emperor, killing season, night flight to kabul, death trip to tulsa.

So, setlist similar to yesterdays? www.setlist.fm/setlist/mark-lanegan/2019/le-trianon-paris-france-4b9a632a.htmlMan I wish I would be lucky to catch Gospel Plow. Seemed like I caught Mark in a rather bad mood, when he simply played a short 18 song set, and now he is pulling out the cool tunes

i think the sets got shorter as Shelly left the tour no? maybe her departure wasn't planned and they needed some time to figure out what tunes to play instead.

Well, the repertoire was already big enough at that point. Also, they could have thrown in some Acoustic tunes with Jeff at any point (like Bombed, which is back), if they really struggled to find stuff to play.

I saw him twice back in 2015 and on the second occasion he only played 14 songs.

I think it's funny whoever wrote up Gospel Plow on the set list.fm as a traditional cover, dude it's a Screaming Trees song!
Also, Dec 10 Roundhouse show has the Gravedigger back & Revival in the encore

Yeah! Revival is a truly magical and wonderful tune and in that setting I imagine it looked and sounded amazing. Only ever seen him perform this once, at Hebden Bridge and that experience will stay with me forever! Must admit when I heard he was playing this venue my first thought was this might be a struggle to fill. Blues Brothersesque visions of him and Aldo driving round the streets of Camden gets. But what the fuck do I know, he played the Roundhouse. Hope it was an enjoyable Ken!
