Yeah, this seems to be an odd rollout with nothing on streaming platforms yet... One of the tracks from the initial single (last year?) Also...if you are a vinyl collector, there are around 300 left of the limited splatter vinyl. My guess is they pressed 500 of the splatter vinyl. I'm surprised how there was such limited information or online presence of the vinyl being available to order and even more so, neither artist promoted that it was available to purchase on their social media sites.

It definitely requires a few listens; I'm not keen on the musical direction on several songs, almost like it was overdone in places and downright jarring in others (i.e., Burned).
Turning In Reverse is an absolute JAM, by far the standout track. Living Dead, No Justice, Hiraeth, and a few others are solid.

This is pretty great. It might be my favorite thing he's done since With Animals, and I've also enjoyed the stuff he's released since then. The only thing I don't really like is Joe's appearance on "Burned" because it was a really beautiful song with just Lanegan singing it.

I ordered the splatter vinyl 10 days ago, but vinyls will not be sent before several days or weeks... Here is the answer I received from Rarebird today : "The vinyl is on preorder at the moment. It isn't scheduled to ship for a while" |

I keep checking various UK and EU sites but see no sign of a physical release over here on vinyl and CD. Lets hope its just because they can't get a slot at a pressing plant due to the Christmas rush by the major labels getting the latest rush-released Adele record out to those with no taste.

Previously, I had taken the plunge on the 12" as shipping was "only" $23 to the UK. This one is "$39 USPS (999 days)" whatever that means.
I contacted rarebird back in October - asking if it'd be available in the UK.
My response from them was:
"There will be copies for distribution in the UK and EU, though we aren't sure how many yet. More info in a month or two."

New information on Rarebird site: splatter and black vinyls will be sent May 10th. Black vinyls are still available.

Black and limited edition splatter vinyl preorders will ship as available, currently May 10th, 2022. However, a unique download code will be emailed to all vinyl preorder customers once their preorder has been received and confirmed.
After the release of their debut 12" in the summer of 2021, DARK MARK VS SKELETON JOE (Featuring Mark Lanegan of Screaming Trees and Joe Cardamone of The Icarus Line) released the official epic full-length October 15, 2021 via Rare Bird/Kitten Robot Records on digital and streaming platforms, and the 2xLP vinyl edition (available for preorder now) will ship as available in 2022 and include an immediate download code that is emailed to vinyl customers on preorder".
