I think about all the friends I've made and people I've argued with for all these years, none of this would have been possible without Mark. I hope everyone is doing well... Much love to you all!

I signed up more than ten years ago yet I haven't been around much. Knowing that this forum exists, though, still comforts me, as Mark's music forever will. Love to you all.

So much love to everyone. It's still processing. Grief is a strange ride, especially this kind.
Grateful that this forum is still here.

Thank you for all the joy and love you brought, Mark. Love you. Heading to Killarney today... Let us know what’s happening in Killarney! I wonder if they’ll have a public wake/ funeral if any sort that fans can attend? youtu.be/FyPWsDcFtvA

Man I have spent the past hour reading back thru all the meetups for the gigs I have attended and god I am so thankful for this place and of course Mark and all the friends I've made over the years.
I have no proof any of it really happened other than one handwritten setlist from the Neptune show and a really bad flyer Kim tore off of a telephone pole, But the memories and the love of this place will live on forever
I remember the card that went around the world for a dear member of this forum. The one whiskey CDs we made, the epic arguements, the road trip with Dennis and Kim, trading music with Gumby, hanging with Todd for many Christmas, driving Montage to the bus station for a bus trip back to canada with a wet ass because i left the sunroof open, Olga and Steve at the dougfir show in Portland, Meeting the legendary Raeni at the wonder ballroom show, meeting Lungsy, maidl, Shoe and many others in Amsterdam...all because of Mark and THIS PLACE. Without Mark THIS PLACE would have never existed, However without all of you my memories would have never existed.
Each and everyone of you have your own memories of these things, What an amazing legacy to leave behind!
My life would be so much emptier without Mark and all of you...life is short folks, focus on what he gave us as opposed to what you have lost!

This was the first place I wanted to be/go when I heard yesterday. Yes likewise. Surprised to find a bunch of recent releases (books and music) I didn't know about. Happy to see familiar faces also surfacing. I joined the forum in 2004... that's almost 20 years ago but I still remember so many of you and the crazy conversations we had waiting for new music and tours... I think that time period was peak internet for me. Now it's just about reading fucking emails.

I'm very glad he was so prolific in what ended up being his final years.
