It's a good idea. Very thoughtful indeed! But you know what I think? I think we should have a special thread here because I'm assuming that Mark now reads this board. He read his own, so why wouldn't he read this one?

Ok, we'll turn this thread into the "get well thread."
Hope all is well Mark! Can't wait to finally see you perform up here in Seattle. Oh, and I hope the tour and travelling have treated you well. Get plenty of rest.
Take care!

Ok, we'll turn this thread into the "get well thread." (it's not like we've *ever* done anything so rude as to hijack someone else's thread..)

(I, uh, ah hem, just want to point out how you and I are trying our hardest to contain ourselves and not be too crass on raeni's board.)
The important thing to remember is that Mark is ok. I'm so glad that nothing bad happened although to cancel a good number of shows must mean that *something* significantly happened in the accident. I really, really hope that he's taking it easy and getting plenty of rest.

Personally, I doubt he reads this board after the shenanigans at the last one.

What shenanigans happened on the last one? I'm new so I haven't heard about that.

he can't read and he doesn't rest.
he might possibly make a few model airplanes, or contiue with his hobby of skipping dimes on sheets of ice, but i can't promise you that, just that he won't rest, and that he won't read.

hmmmm ok. Though he mentioned reading as something he likes to do in loads of articles, that and watching sport, possibly competitive dime skipping?? who knows? also he does'nt rest, 'there's no morphine I'm only sleeping'...

actually, he was talking about george read, who's an american revolutionary, it's true, so when he says he's reading, he is in the process of a revolution.
but actually reading a book, no.
he likes basketball, it's true, for whatever stupid reason.
and he's right, there is no morphine.

and US football, and he may like ol George maybe due to his Irish roots and if he likes George Read how does he learn about him, hmmmm through books maybe. Plus what's wrong with books eh?

Post by BAPTIST WITH HIS HEAD CUT OFF on Sept 23, 2004 19:10:44 GMT -5
i didn't say there was anything wrong with books, you know, besides the obvious reasons that you should know by now.
he found out about george read the same way i did, from the homeless guy that lives behind the liqour store, i mean shit, where else do you learn about that guy.
and as for him holding and looking into a book, even children do that, it's called mimicking, or learned behavior, which he was probably doing in order to gain acceptance, or maybe a hug, but i assure you he was not reading.
not mark, oh no.

Please don't let this degenerate into a silly name calling match, I was never arguing. This should be a good thread. You should'nt slander Mark by saying that he is illiterate, and with the use of cod psychology pleeease, it ain't funny 'a little knowledge is a dangerous thing'. Seriously you have a lot of resentment problems and hostility towards women, maybe you should see a councellor.

Good idea to have a Get well thread for Mark.
So Mark take all the rest that you need, and come back at your best for the Seattle show!!!!! ;D
