The Future Soundtrack for America
Convieniently, they've put the 6 most light-weight songs first on this disc, so you can easily skip to track 7 and press play. It's pretty rad, especially the awesome sleater-kinney b-side (fred, where are you??), the tom waits track (i think this is from the new cd) and an unreleased elliot smith song from his from-the-grave effort.
And the money goes to charities to kill bush. or something.
Order it, mutherfuckers!!!!!

Saw these guys last night, it was way cool – they payed a real 'greatest hits' type show which me likey. This disc has 'Richard III' on it, my most favouriteist song at the mo'.

Jeremy Enigk-"Return of the Frog Queen" ...it's like good and stuff.... is it? i've only heard his sunny day real estate stuff, which is damn good; are they in any way similar? i've been fucking listening to a compilation of tracks from the first two Jawbox albums, since amazon have fucked up my order again, and McLusky.

it is good in my opinion, but it's not for everyone. it's really NOT a whole hell of a lot like SDRE. more mellow....acoustic....at times pretty strange. i dig it...maybe worth checking out for you, sir. have you heard The Fire Theft at all yet?

Mr G*, I'll be saying well done to that and i'll be advising that their last full length CD was a truly classic stomper of a retro rock goliath type beast. Get it, listen and enjoy! Big Love my man!
