Mr G*, I'll be saying well done to that and i'll be advising that their last full length CD was a truly classic stomper of a retro rock goliath type beast. Get it, listen and enjoy! Big Love my man! i love you 'the' jesus. (man that movie rocks, i have a feeling that a m0ng0 character around here also likes it) of course i have 'life on other planets', i think everyone should own it. but i'd settle if everyone brought their new 'best of'.

it is good in my opinion, but it's not for everyone. it's really NOT a whole hell of a lot like SDRE. more mellow....acoustic....at times pretty strange. i dig it...maybe worth checking out for you, sir. have you heard The Fire Theft at all yet? i'll give it a go. i've never heard The Fire Theft. the last thing i bought was The Rising Tide.

i'll give it a go. i've never heard The Fire Theft. the last thing i bought was The Rising Tide. actually, the last thing i bought was a packet of salt and vinegar frisps. and the last cd i bought was a fugazi one. so, total lie, really.

god I just heard Thick as a Brick by Jethro Tull on the radio so I will listen to that the minute I get home today what an amazing song/album Maaaaaan. JTull... I lovvve the track Hunting Girl of Songs from The Wood... that guy is a nutter! I used to have this excellent pic of him playing the flue in tight pants with a cod piece & his electricfied static frizzy hair was balding in the middle & his eyes were crazed. Quality. I dont know any of their other albums, i might check it out now you mentioned it.... ps- that is an album people tend to fall over themselves laughing at me if i play it - like "what the fuck are youuuu listening to Mel?" But i dig all that flute & magical pagan forest shit... bring it on. Do you like Hawkwnd? I can heartily reccomend Levitation and the original version of the track Motorhead (with Lemmy in it) & with sax and fiddle... it VV good but not sure which of their many many (& many not so good) albums it is....raaaaaaaaant.
