OII cheeky cheeky mel!I finally found yer message!Yep im a smiths and morrisey fan - he's playing a huggge london show on december 18 at earls court!lucky for me!Indeed some gals are larger than others. This always cracks me up - this is great : Oh, you handsome devil Oh, let me get my hands On your mammary glands And let me get your head On the conjugal bed I say, I say, I say heh heh!How someone can sing that without creasing up is amazing! But you name suggest's your a 'Libertines' fan ? They also have good lyircs and are quite Smith'esque in some songs....for instance the song 'Mayday' "First you put the tongue in Then you put the boot in yeah, yeah...oh yeah" Classico! Smiths were too good man.....'Well I Wonder' and 'Rusholme Ruffians' are my faves. I used to live in Rusholme a couple of years ago and my god are they ruffians.....so......a good reflection methinks!

Listening to lots of stuff of late:
VoiVod: Angel Rat Slick Shoes/Cooter: Split LP Stone Roses: Second Coming Carter The Unstoppable Sex Machine: Straw Donkey Vic Reeves I Will Cure You Ozric Tentacles: Strangeitude Minor Threat: Out of Step Seagull Screaming Kiss Her Kiss Her: Red Talk
And loads of stuff on the Burnout 3 soundtrack that's making me feel rather old but I've heard of Autopilot Off and teh Von Bondies track reminds me of Mrs Doyle from Father Ted.

I got Grace out of my local library quite a while back... i just couldnt get into it... I reeeeally wanted too- i really did! I was really expecting to be blown away- never heard such praise for an album! But it just didnt float my boat baby.. oh no. Not hard to find either though, its on amazon & Spearwood Library down the road has it..

De Worde could give a few reccomendations on that subject! I luvvv his work.. or at least the albuums i have. Let me heartily reccomend Let Love In (psychotic & elegant @ same time- gorgeous arrangements (piano strings organ etc, & The Boatmans Call (hopless romanticism & high drama- ballads, minimal but beautiful string accompaniments..) Im not feeling the new one as much, alot of gospel style backing choirs etc, doesnt do it so much for me, but next $$s i got im investing in more- First Born is Dead (Tupelo sounds ace!) & maybe NO More SW Part.
