First you both get Mark (twice for some) and now you both get Tom Waits. WTF!!!! Only two shows in North America evidently constitutes a US tour. I'm trying to post a link to Tom's appearance on Letterman last week. Maybe someone else will have better luck than I am with it. www.looptvandfilm.com/blog/waits2.mov My wife wakes me out of a dead sleep "Tom Waits is on Lettermen. Do you want to see him?" So I sprint into the other room to catch a brilliant performance of a new song off of his new CD. He is looking kind of Ned Beatty ish in his old age.

Only two shows in North America evidently constitutes a US tour. before you start going on about it, there's only one Waits show in the whole of Britain... that's +60million-ish people, and one show in a relatively small venue (capacity = 5000). and it's his first show over here since 1987... with tickets on ebay going for £300ish... man, we're so fucking LUCKY!

maybe he goes onstage and plays dead...? that's an interesting thought: if Jerry Garcia came back from the dead, would he go back to The 'Dead?

i saw tom one time in half moon bay, it's south of san francisco, i think he lives there, he was just walking around, i waved, and he waved back, that was really enough for me.
and how many times do i have to tell you people, it's not my fault you live in backwards hick assed white trash hobo ville in the east and south, you people make me sick.
why would you expect anyone to tour there

'tom waits for no man.' m. ps, if jery garcia came back from the dead, would he go back to The 'Dead?
