has its own website now.......which loike Marks official site has lots of coming soons in every catagory. But this one will hopefully have more details very soon unlike marks site www.nirvanabox.comAn official web site has been launched to promote the upcoming NIRVANA box set, "With the Lights Out", due on November 23 via Geffen Records (one day earlier internationally). Right now, all the site offers is a NIRVANA photo (possibly the one that will be used as cover artwork), and the release dates. Apparently, the site will provide sound clips, video clips and images later. Check it out at www.nirvanabox.com. As previously reported, the four-disc set will feature 81 tracks including 68 previously unreleased recordings — rehearsals, outtakes, late NIRVANA frontman Kurt Cobain's home demos, as well as a DVD which is confirmed to have unreleased band home movies, live footage, rehearsal footage and 20 full-length video performances. A 60-page booklet will accompany the release. The title is a reference to a lyric in "Smells Like Teen Spirit". A source told NME.com: "I've seen some of the footage and it's amazing stuff. There's a video of them performing at a friend's party with Kurt reading lyrics off a sheet of paper on the wall, footage of them covering 'Seasons In the Sun' in a studio with Kurt on drums and lots of other great stuff." The artwork for the set is currently being put together, with the likely choice being a "landscape" box.

According to a posting at The Internet Nirvana Fan Club, Britain's Q magazine will bring the full track listing and an early review of the upcoming NIRVANA "With the Lights Out" box set in their December 2004 issue (#221) as part of an article entitled "Last Testament. The Nirvana boxset. Kurt Cobain's curtain call."
The track listing for the box set, due on November 23 via Geffen Records (one day earlier internationally), doesn't specify where the songs are from — as in the source session or performance. However, The Internet Nirvana Fan Club webmaster has tried to provide that information when possible, based on educated guesses and extensive knowledge of the NIRVANA recordings. He writes: "Please note that this source information is mostly speculation and by no means confirmed officially. Some sessions I'm sure of, while in other cases I've used the word 'possibly' to mark uncertainty. The source info is only intended to be used as reference. Though, the listing of actual song titles should be 100% accurate. "

13. Old Age (possibly from March 1991 boombox demo or from Sound City Studios May-June 1991) when I was like 13 and I discovered Nirvana I fell in love so much with them that I would spend my nights downloading all those bootlegs listed above, so I want this box set. but wait a minute. isn't 'Old Age' a 1.05 min demo that is incomplete and sounds like shit?? (and many of the listed above too) or they actually kept very safe (free from napster) cleaner and more complete versions of those?

Shame that they've seemingly included neither the Mark Goodier nor the John Peel sessions in there... Then again, I'm not fussed as I have them both on vinyl

I tried winning it off the radio so at least that way I'd have it for free. I doubt I'll buy it. I'm not a huge Nirvana fan and I just imagine it rotting on the shelf probably.
