Here’s something for you to think about: Some have predicted that there *could* be a tie between Bush and Kerry tomorrow. Know what would happen in that case? If there is a tie (269 electoral votes for Bush, 269 electoral votes for Kerry), the House of Representatives would choose the next president. Now, the majority are Republican, which would mean that Bush would be re-elected as President. Here’s where it gets interesting though: The Senate would then choose the Vice President and the majority of members are Democrats which would mean, yep, Vice President Edwards. How interesting would that be? A big mess is what would happen if you ask me. An article explaining more is HERE.

Something else, if it's close, you know that both Bush and Kerry have gathered the best of the best lawyers and some sort of badness is bound to happen. I think this is going to be a nail-biter. I plan on having my eyes glued to CNN tomorrow. For those of you who won't be by a tv but want to watch the events unfold, I think CNN.com will be a great site to watch.

I'm just all about the CNN alright!
Maybe I'll send them a resume explaining how they need to hire me because I'm all over the Mark Lanegan board with my CNN blather. That should work, shouldn't it?
GO CNN!
;D

But seriously, good luck.. i do have my fingers tightly & ever hopefully crossed for you people.. & for the rest of the world! Although that said.. i dont for a minute see that it'l change things THAT dramatically, but if anything- out of sheer principle. I think ill be glued too.. im kinda in suspense ps- better plugging CNN than the dreaded FOX! Jesus! everytime i 'accidentally' tune in i cant believe my ears on such a dangereous 'unethical' TOTALLY UN OBJECTIVE propaganda machine that is disguised as news/ current affairs. The interviewers are SHOCKING & rude & its just the worst 'journalism' ive ever witnessed...ohhh.... 'freedom of speech' Cripes good luck ma dear!

It could all have been so different if Al-Qaeda had blown up the Osmonds instead of the WTC...

anyway... back to the main point of this thread..
Unskinny Bop by Poison...
yeah, i used to love that. two of the first albums i really got into were by poison, dont know what they were called - the one with unskinny bop on. i was 10-11ish... around the same time i bought Do The Bartman.
i liked the Beatles' Blue and Red double albums that my mum had/has on LP as well...
and the monkees. quite liked them. good singles.
what's this topic called?

i grew up listening to David Bowie and Lou Reed; i'm very proud of my dad's good musical taste, although it's gone downhill recently.
