Fleet Fixes were absolutely fantastic. Much more punch live than on their albums.

Fleet Fixes were absolutely fantastic. Much more punch live than on their albums. So glad to hear it! I see them on Saturday. Was the opener for your show, The Cave Singers? If so, what did you think? On a whim I almost picked up their record at a music store in Portland, then I come home to find out they're opening for Fleet Foxes.

You are in for a treat! Yes, it was the Cave Singers opening. Three folkies from Seattle who said they are good friends with the Foxes. Their music sounds very different, though. You can check them out on YouTube.

Just a rumour about the owners of the Casbah & This Ain't Hollywood in Hamilton attempting to book a Mudhoney show on one of their off days surrounding Pearl Jam's Toronto, Ottawa, Hamilton & Winnipeg dates. Hopefully it amounts to something. Fingers crossed.

Fleet Foxes were fantastic, and I loved the Cave Singers as well. I really wished I had listened to my intuition and picked up their cd while I had it in my hand.

Nice, thanks! I'll have a look later tonight. I also downloaded a bootleg from Dime yesterday (Hollywood). I can't get their music out of my head now. I was never a huge fan of their debut, but the new album really has done it to me.

If the weather's clear on Sunday, I'll go see Pickwick, Joseph Giant, Bryan John Appleby, and Fox and the Law at the Folklife festival at the Seattle Center. lol, what are Fox and the Law even doing at a folk-based festival? Oh, Seattle.
Then June 1st it's Alela Diane! I am so excited to finally get to see her.

You know, I've seen absolutely no advertising for that weekend. Might brave it for Neko.

If that's the case, make sure you go see it!!!! nah, i saw qotsa playing qotsa twice this year. first time it was garbage, second time it was awesome. yesterday they played all their hits.. josh was a bit drunk.. haha. so they only played one hour instead of 1.5!!
