Mm, I love Cornell's voice when he doesn't go all squeaky. I still think Temple of the Dog was his best stuff, though..

theres one saving grace chris has yet to prance around in silver skin tight pants in a cave with there's a fat guitar legend in the backround but its just a matter of time i would have assumed that being on a lanegan forum u guys would have decent music taste, but with all the bitching about cornell and wieland going on here i was starting to loose faith. but u just called slash a fat guitar legend i am shocked belong belief! didnt know anyone could say such a thing! all i can say is there is such a thing as aging with grace, its seems to be beyond the likes of cornell, wieland and co. there reaches a time in life when skin tight jeans and leather just dont look right, manowar are the perfect example. this is why i loved eurphoria morning because it showed a mellower with age side to cornell but i'll be damned if this new one isnt gonna be the reason I finally go over the edge and go on some sort of spree (shopping, killing either one)

I don´t know what is the meaning of this new record. Euphoria has that magic of the loneliness.. but now he is not lonely, not poor, he is as rich as mongo ;D and i don´t know why to make records if you are rich or married and good sleeper.

"i don't know why to make records if you are rich or married and good sleeper."
you have no idea how many times i've said the exact same thing. in fact, this quote might give me faith in this board again. Sol....you need to post more...you rule all.

The rock albums it´s that thing, there is not problem with pop or other styles where all it´s good and comfortably. See ya soon.

He did Seasons! How was it?
The performance on Muchmoremusic Friday night was surprisingly decent, too. Maybe there is hope for the guy after all?

He sounded great the entire show. I'm not sure if his vocal chords have gotten some rest but, he never sounded better. Seasons he did together with his guitar player. That song is so haunting and the Pheonix is so small it just filled the room. Say Hello To Heaven (TOTD) hasn't been played anywhere since the Off Ramp in Seattle in 1990. There's some video here: www.chriscornell.org.uk/livereviews/toronto14april2007.htm

I didn't realize Gary Lucas was a contributor to this album. Can anyone who has heard the album tell me if he helps save it any? He's only on one song and I don't have it so I don't have the liner notes to tell which one it is. I've heard the whole thing a few times and it's not really something I'm going to get. Ummm have you heard this band Operator? They singer sounds just like Chris. It's not my thing but, I couldn't believe how similar they are. www.myspace.com/operatormusic
