Well what a show - it was a tad loud at times but I just let that pass and got into it. The only video i took was of Ode - the vision is superb but the sound is SHITE
The drummer was also outta time a couple of times but cant remember the song - maybe Quiver (or Quieter Syndrome as my iTunes calls it along with St louis Elogy - haha)
He said thank you quite a few times/introduced the band/and even said something else which of course I couldnt make out - maybe a thank you to The Tiv??
I was standing midway but as soon as he started I just could not stay there and wound my way to 2nd row beside some young things and an almost pole dancer - weird to see someone dancing sexily to Marks stuff but good on her I say
I actually made it to the barrier for the encore which was great. Had a couple of tools behind me but I gave them a what for and a death stare as well - Mark would have been proud
Sorry Bey we got WYW. Stock standard set list too tho it was lovely to hear Pendulum - so great to see him in full swing with the band - AWESOME!! My friend came along who is not a huge fan- has seen him solo 2yrs back - she thought it was excellent!
So at the end of the gig we lined up - my sister was very excited - I was quietly beside myself
I had asked the venue earlier for the Aust tour poster and the lady was very kind to actually give me one at the end so I had that and the Amsterdam and Field Songs CDs for him to sign. I said hello and then he said I remember you (haha I am a little kooky and also got gazillions of CD's signed last year for everyone) but it was an awesome feeling for him to say that. I went back 2 more times and made a complete dithering fool of myself tho my sister says I didnt and he chatted away and listened not that I can remember too much but I did tell him i would be coming to Melbourne too.
2 hours later I am still on that great big high and re-living it drinkin myself sick
PS must also say he has lost heaps of weight and looks great - hope he doesnt lose anymore!!!
Anyway enough of my rambling - I bid you all goodnite
