Bah! I'll be overseas for this and will just miss them in Buenos Aires.
Will be great at the Tivoli, I hope they get a good crowd there.

I feel you Mr Gumby. I bought tix for Melbs and Sydney because I'm still hoping to catch this tour in at least one hemisphere.
Excited, already.

Yeah,we saw him in Wellington in 2010.I was literally 2 ft away from him,I could have reached over and touched his boot! One thing I'll always regret is before the show I saw the back of him near the stage talking to the promoter(?).I wanted to go over and get a signature but wasn't sure about his reaction. He left from a back door and in a daze I followed but he had disappeared. I've got to say it was the best live show I've ever been to,just so up close and intimate. I dont think Mark said boo the whole time which was kind of weird but not unexpected.

Hi there First time poster, been a fan since hearing Mark's voice on the QOTSA album Rated R (in particular 'In the Fade') and immediately fell in love with that voice. I too am really looking forward to the Auckland show, i just got my tickets last week and am so excited, saw UNKLE at this same venue around the same time last year so know it will be great. Oh and as this is my first post, just want to thank the person who put onewhiskey together as i owe alot of my Lanegan discoveries to you as i have been visiting this site since i stumbled across it on the interweb's.

Hopefully he will do a m & g like he has been doing - I have met him several times on these as well as out the back of a couple of gigs - he is super sweet and nice. No airs n graces!! Very humble man - go for it

Thanks emanedur and she bangs the trums, I registered with FTC so i could get them on pre-sale, didn't want to risk not getting the tickets, I have no clue as to who will be opening, fingers crossed for Creature with the Atom Brain as i would totally flip out! But if they go with an NZ band i'd hope for either An Emerald City or Cairo Knife Fight, either one of those bands would be a perfect setup for the Blues Funeral songs (Purely speculation though

Like most here, I'll be counting the sleeps from now until the 18th. Caught his last concert at the Kings Arms and I think I was so mesmerized by actual being so up close and personal with my "idol" that I think a lot of it when over my head. My partner is " forced" to listen to Mark incessantly at home and was amazed at hearing him live saying hearing his voice live made her realize just how his recordings don't do his voice justice. I hope he has some merchandise on sale especially clothing so I can share my love of ML where ever I go.

Hey everyone, another long-time lurker, first-time poster here...just wanted to say that I'm also really looking forward to the Auckland Powerstation gig! Will be good to balance 2010's acoustic gig with a 'rockier' show this time around. Hope we get Crawlspace!
