Google translate does it quite well.
You should mention that there is the new Lanegan/Campbel song streamed at the link above!

You can preorder the cd or vinyl here at the glitterhouse site. it took me some time to figure out that "mailorder" on the main site is what I was looking for.... I couldn't find it on amazon.ca or amazon.com, but amazon.co.uk has the cd ot vinyl and has the release date as April 9.. i usually try to buy everything lanegan contributes, but this is kind of pricey. i might have to sleep on it before ordering.

Made me a bit sad that this might be last with Isobel.

There is still atleast one more JLP tribute album to hope for another pairing. Fingers crossed Mark contributes to more than one song on the next one. Maybe a grand-finale song with the 'regulars' Cypress Grove, Mick Harvey, Nick Cave, Lydia Lunch and such.

Repeated comparisons of the 2 versions leave Isobel and Mark the clear winner. Debbie Harry's voice is lovely,it has matured and strengthened with age but Nick Cave's part sounds contrived. Lanegan and Isobel are in what I think of as their quietly domestic setting (as in most of the EP) as opposed to their Tennessee Williams setting.

Lanegan and Isobel are in what I think of as their quietly domestic setting (as in most of the EP) as opposed to their Tennessee Williams setting. I agree completely, clear winner . Even though I'm a huge Cave fan Nick's voice always sounds contrived and forced to my ears. The boatman's call is one of my all time fave albums but he still sounds very much 'in character'. Take 'black hair' for example, its so over the top with Nick forever playing the hopeless romantic. Like Tom Waits Nick is a master of disguise whether its the aforementioned black hair, tupelo, cindy cindy, rambling man or the breaking hands. The sessions as a whole are not as much to my liking as the first release but Mark and Isobel's contribution is the best thing about it in my humble opinion although it still pales next to the fantastic original and the even better ramblin jeffrey live performances of 1994.

Please don't post blind urls to songs available on new albums. I had been waiting until I received the album to hear that song and I would have prefered to have not heard the intro. Links had been posted to an authorized leak of the song before the album was released and if someone wanted to find it on Youtube I think they could manage.

I didn't carry on and listen to the whole song I just heard the intro which I said I would have preferred not to. I just asked him not to post blind links, if he had posted " Here's a link to the song." or if he had posted a direct link to a Youtube video or if he had done this... ...I wouldn't have heard any of it. I just asked him not to post blind links, I hardly think it's an unreasonable request.

It does when I open it.
And I hate blind links too.

Maybe its your fear of the unknown driving that hatred?

There are known knowns; there are things we know we know. We also know there are known unknowns; that is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns – there are things we do not know we don't know.
