I'm hoping he'll do an Edinburgh festival date, it's on the whole of August and he's done it several times.

All these dates, plus the Edinburgh one got posted on the site today. There are still several more festivals to announce, but as always I have to wait until the festivals SAY they can be posted. Seemed sad that I had to wait until today to post Lowlands, and by the time I got it up it said the festival was sold out already - how does that shit happen?

The Wolverhampton link says "Warm up for Reading"..... will look forward to a festival appearance then :-) May be this will be timed around the gig Mark mentioned recently for London.

The Edinburgh one makes me very happy. It'll be part of The Edge Music Festival which runs along with all the other festivals on in Edinburgh throughout August. Aberdeen is for lots of personal reasons a hilarious choice (not being rude to any Aberdonians here,it's a lovely place I was at university there and my son is there now)

From looking at the Ticketmaster site, it says that support is from 'Creature With The Atom Brain' at Wolverhampton, though this doesn't appear on the Aberdeen page.

My e-ticket for Wolverhampton does indeed say support is CWTAB

"The Edinburgh Festival" isn't a festival in the tents in a field sense. It's about half a dozen different arts festivals which run throughout the city for the whole of August. The Edge Festival is the contemporary music one and it'll be full length show not a festival slot. He's done it a few times, last one was in 2010 , he's in a much bigger venue this time.

I don't see much space for a London gig, assuming the band want a day off. Still hoping though.

Got my tickets for Falmouth! I Live in truro (about 12 miles away!) so was hella surprised when I saw this date announced! saw lanegan at shephards bush empire in march (for the fourth time) and never dreamed I would get to see him @ a local venue! Eagles of Death Metal have also played there though as a warm up for Glastonbury a few years ago! The princess pavillion is a cracking little venue too! any of you guys planning to attend this one?

LOL - I may go to the wolves gig. I've seen him twice this year but the album is so good a third might be required. Seeing Creature with the Atom Brain again is also tempting. Shame their set isn't longer.
