So...I live in the US and I want to Preorder Black Pudding. I'm seeing three preorders listed on Lanegan's site, but they are all UK stores and due to the sh!t hole dollar to pound ratio, it costs a lot to get that vinyl to the US. I'm also not sure if these releases are going to be the same in the USA as they are overseas (vinyl contains a cd housed in the sleeve) These three preorders are here for UK/EU: Rough Trade: www.roughtrade.com/albums/70642Picadilly: www.piccadillyrecords.com/products/MarkLaneganDukeGarwood-BlackPudding-HeavenlyRecordings-88818.htmlResident: www.resident-music.com/productdetails&product_id=24234The Ipecac label (US version) only has a link to Amazon...well...actually, only to the cd on their website (bad marketing), but the vinyl link is here (and it mentions nothing about the cd being included ...Ipecac needs to get their sh!t together). www.resident-music.com/productdetails&product_id=242341) So...does anyone know if these two are going to be the same release or is this the same thing with Blues Funeral (different color vinyl between the UK and US) and I should just pick up both ...since I collect Lanegan on vinyl? 2) Does anywhere know of another source to preorder the vinyl in the US? I emailed Ipecac to see if they knew if there would be a difference in the vinyl pressings...will post a response when and if I see it!

FYI...Ipecac responded confirming the US Version does not include a CD, but it has a digital download card inside. Looks like vinyl collectors should pick up a copy of both!

Mark Eglantine is a long-time friend of Heavenly and a man whose career to date means he needs little introduction. Never one to shy away from unique collaborations -- having previously worked with Isobel Campbell on their Mercury-nominated album of duets, 'Ballad of the Broken Seas. url deleted by mod Mark Eglantine is actually the guy who collaborated with Isobel Cowbell, not Isobel Campbell. Their album was called 'J.G Ballard on the Broken Seat'. proposal ideas for spammers[/quote]

Well..it's a weirdo collectors thing...there is a reason why I have several copies of the same record, some unopened...it's a terrible habit, but harmless none the least!
