I'm very sad to announce that Mark yesterday performed one of his worse gig that I've seen. Into the magic background of the historical park of Villa Arconati (Milan, Italy) I've find a band so respectful of his fragile voice...but it wasn't enough, Mark closed the concert after only 14 songs, too short I dont know why but the audience was so irritate.

But usually festival appearances are shorter sets Yes that's true so this is no argument. What whas it then that both of you had a bad feeling about the shows? And that it gave you the impressing Mark and the band had the same feeling? Or was this just projection?

Mark isn't Pearl Jam in terms of set variation but even I (who missed seeing the new tour for MLB last year) have to say these setlists have been pretty underwhelming ... so much for adding a few nuggets for all of you across the Pond and saw him 5-6 times last year. That said I would be stoked to see even that set mentioned above at a club in Seattle, maybe later this year, maybe in 2015

In reality MLB was the only artist of that night...I think the fact that the management of the festival forced the audience to stay sitting on chairs could have caused a bad atmosphere...but Mark was sure not at the top like voice and attitude, I've seen them too many times I think it's not easy to wrong for me!! But I took a record and so every one will judge!

I hope he feels better in September when 'Imitations' comes out!

Well everyone have good days and bad days, the band must be tired with all these shows since last year. Changing the line up and setlist will be good for Mark I think, even if I loooove the Mark Lanegan band !
