I believe that Manuel's doing just backup harmonies and that all is Lanegan

I don't know what the fuzz is about, I can clearly hear Mark. Well his Italian is a bit better then his disgusting French, though some words..make me a bit cringe.... uh I don't really like it. (but Italian popmusic doesn't work with me at all, most of the time it sounds so polished...., I'd prefer Italian folk music)

"Hai Paura del Buio?" is one of my all-time favorites and I think Mark turned in a perfect performance.... So glad to listen to him sing with such a clean, mature-sounding voice.

I've put off listening to this after hearing "Eligie Funebre",like Strange said in her last post, his diction is (a bit)better in Italian than French but still doesn't mean its excellent-brilliant-perfect etc. I know what response this will bring, no I can't speak a 1000 languages and no I can't sing, I just hope this is not a new direction/area Mr lanegan will take!!

Oh I forgot to add that I like his attitude in this and that he doesn't flinch (do I say this right?) for challenges like these. I can't wait for his Dutch!

Its sounds crispy to my ears for many reasons.... And sure Mark isnt good at french , but whatever !! As non european, he tries and THAT is lovely !!!! And i love to listen to peeps doing their best to pronounce or say things, that's damn sexy to my ears BUT there are so many people who dont even try to speak or learn another language ... ... Be thankful to Mark.... !!!

Finally got my copy last night and I am having so much fun rocking out to the first disc that I've barely given the second one a glance - listening to a cd SO beats Spotify! I know nothing of pronunciation, don't know Italian or French, don't mind listening to songs in languages I don't understand, the voice becomes purely an instrument, like writing run-on, poorly constructed sentences. I did listen a bit to Dulli shouting "Male di Miele" - funny. I'm loving it. Nothing useful to add.
