Fellow Laneganners,
I was away for a few weeks from this forum (yep shame on me) but now I found the following info about a recently released live LP
CAMPBELL, ISOBEL -& MARK LANEGAN- - LA ROUTE DU ROCK SAINT-MALO, FRANCE 2011 An LP release of live recordings from Campbell (Belle And Sebastian) and former Screaming Trees-frontman Mark Lanegan, dating from 2011.
Anybody heard of this? Wasn't able to find any info here on the board. This sounds not official - anybody knowing anything?
Thanks!

I believe it is a new bootleg. I actually was looking on Discogs last night and saw one copy of it for sale. I bought it, but it ships to me (Seattle, WA) from somewhere in Europe, so I won't get the record for about two weeks. When I get it, I'll report back with sound quality, cover art, etc. The actual item / master listing was only created on Discogs about 6 days ago, so it will probably start showing up on Ebay in the next week or so. Here is the link on Discogs (if you are a vinyl collector, you probably have an account there), so add it to your Want List. www.discogs.com/release/5636951Tracklist: 1 We Did And See Beauty Reign 2 You Won't Let Me Down Again 3 Come Undone 4 Sake Song (Townes Van Zandt Cover) 5 Free To Walk (Jeffrey Lee Pierce Cover) 6 Honey Child What Can I Do? 7 Keep Me In Mind, Sweetheart 8 The Circus Is Leaving Town 9 Time Of The Season 10 Eyes Of Green 11 Something To Believe 12 Salvation 13 Come On Over (Turn Me On)

And as an FYI, I paid 25 euros with another 5 euros for postage. I remember when the Julia bootleg started circulating, people were paying over $100 for a copy and now it is pretty easy to get a copy for $20 or so!

I paid Euro 23 plus Euro 9 shipping (although it's only Netherlands to Germany???). Anyway I will let you know when it arrives about the quality. But I saw in the Download section that we currently have no recording of this gig in our archive.

Surely it will just be the audio from this video:
It's a bootleg plain and simple and best left alone.
Mark puts out enough of these himself so no need to support dodgy bootleggers.

In my opinion if Mark does not release this himself it won't hurt him to buy this bootleg. I always supported him and have all his "official" live releases but I am always happy to have anything on vinyl instead of collecting MP3 or FLAC files from dime or wherever so I think everyone should decide for themselves.
But I think you are right it is not in Mark's sense to just press a crappy audience recording onto vinyl to make a few bucks. I will let you know about sound quality soon.

Got it today and right now it is rotating on my turntable. I am very pleased with the sound quality.
Here is the tracklist: SideA
We die and see beauty reign You won't let me down again Come undone Snake song (Townes Van Zandt cover) Free to walk (Jeffrey Lee Pierce cover) Honey Child what can I do? Keep me in mind sweetheart
SideB
The circus is leaving town Time of the Season Eyes of Green Something to believe Salvation Come on over (turn me on)
If you take a look at setlist of the event they just cut out Ramblin' Man.
No additional artwork. Record labels are picture of M&I. Matrix scratching reads "LANEGAN & CAMPBELL".
Everyone has to decide themselves if they buy thid bootleg record but you won't be disappointed with sound quality.
