This is so cool it borders on spooky. It's like they've been secretly studying my record collection to find out what my perfect album would sound like.

Triple R radio station here in Melbourne just played the track with Mark called 'Rooks Across The Gate' and as we'd hoped it sounded amazing! There'll be a replay of the show posted here eventually. EDIT: Actually it looks like this is the third (!) week in a row they've played it, so go back and you can hear it now!

Also worth noting that the vinyl-only bonus track is included on the Japanese pressing of the CD.

FYI I was at an Earth show last night and had a little talk with Dylan. It seems like (something I was suspecting) that there will be a europe winter tour of Lanegan and Earth. Dylan said that it isn´t sure but he is hoping it will happen. Hopefully I didn´t said to much if yes, I will delete this post. I don´t post here much but "hi"

Mine arrived today as well. I've got it spinning now and I'm loving it. This is my first introduction to Earth, so I say thanks to Mr. Lanegan for turning me onto yet another amazing band. Soulsavers, Chelsea Wolfe, Duke Garwood, the BeeGees... and now Earth! (I'm not pleased that Southern Lord doesn't do download codes though. I can't very well take my turntable to work with me, can I?! Grrr!)

So is there just one track Mark sings on? I added the one I knew of to the discography, but I was confused about whether or not there was another one.

From the intro to the presser: It then goes on as press releases always do (think "thesaurus in a blender" and you're halfway there), but it only mentions Rooks Across The Gates specifically - the 2nd song could just be him appearing to to background doings (a la recent QotSA) or a couple of words (Sweet Apple). Or, the European vinyl edition has a bonus track so it could be that - and who doesn't want to hear Mark sing on a track entitled "Badger's Bane"? To cut a long story short: I don't know

I saw them couple weeks ago in Sibenik at SuperUho...they've called Rose Windows to join them on stage and secretly I was dying because I thought that Lanegan would jump out of blue like on QOTSA shows... They mentioned colaboration with Rose but said nothing about Lanegan...
I know that this has nothing to do with topic but I had urge to share my brainy thoughts with you guys :-D
